Look, I get that you’re trying to be fair here. But Kate has over 1000 hours and uses every opportunity she can get to make spaceman horizontal, if she thinks she can get away with it. I know you’re trying to act in good faith here, but look at her history. 10 bans for over-escalation. 2 active player reports about killing people the first second she got a chance 2. This is a person who tries to bend the rules as much as she can to do as much killing as she can. She will kill at the slightest provocation and never give a chance for anyone to tell her anything, because if they get anything out that even remotely implies she can’t kill them, her case for “well it was in the rules” goes right out the window. I get that many of these times, even here, she could get off on a technicality or a mistake.
But her actions do not exist in a vacuum. She does this sort of a thing, over and over and over and over, to kill and kill and kill as much as she can. When do you wake up and realize she’s actually a griefer? The 11th time? The 12th?

Not too familiar with Kate - but I did notice at least one scenario where someone else with a fat stack of notes and bans received a one-day ban for blatant, cut-and-dry metagrudging.
Administrators are human. They make human mistakes. The best one can do is try and point out those mistakes, politely, and ask that they be corrected.
That said - yes. Sometimes, it seems that ban lengths are arbitrary, and don’t reference previous bans and notes.
A better option than making this thread might’ve been to contact the Host or Head Admin, and ask what’s up. It’s unlikely this thread will do much more than stir the pot of negative emotions, rather than answer your questions, or resolve the situation.

For a first offense in an unclear scenario, I would extend the same courtesy to other players.
Flavor text and lore matter less on LRP than hard escalation rules, which weren’t defined for this situation.
If theres no rules, don’t you think she should have followed the flavor text??
Anyone else (with her ban/note history) would be banned for a week or several, especially since her only excuse is her own ignorance.
