I didnt took any High Risk items ( i took sechud and belt from wardens, cash and hos headset from hos)
I didnt steal from any player

When i was smited from the face of the earth i was dragging heretic which i caught. I wasnt gonna round end them or anything, but getting gibbed while carrying a cuffed antag who then escaped cuz no one cared, is pretty fucking cringe.
I rarely actively validhunt these days. Id much rather goof around when catching an antag, like making them into catbeast femboy (which i was gonna do to the heretic from this round) or stealing all their shit and letting them go naked and ashamed. If i played as hos i would be banned for this shit, thus i dont play hos.

Conclusion

Destroying a path directly into the armoury, warden’s locker, HoS’ locker is antagonistic. Leaving high-risk items in the open for anyone to take is antagonist for the same reasons giving out AA is.

Giving out AA means antagonists can complete their tasks, stealing and mudering.

You opened HoS’ locker and a direct path to it, helping antagonists. Not to mention the armoury, krav maga, and a unique combat shotgun.

If you want security equipment, play as HoS. Don’t cosplay as them.

Very epic, but if what you are saying is correct, then why aa rush and tiding into caps is allowed. It literally opens the way to nuke disc, cap jetpack, medal of captaincy, antique and others. Ruko literally said that stealing from locker is ok as long as you don steal from player. Its not my problem someone goes in and steal the maga or hos gun. And i stopped the robber right before you gibbed me.

If this happened on round 28082, I believe you had the nuke disk on your person and I, as CE/acting captain had to come and collect it from you. I might be getting your name mixed up with someone else, though, so verification would be needed.

Self-antag does not consist of purely binary conditions where X is always self-antag and Y ix never self-antag. Though most of our enforcement fall into that, someone who is intentionally skirting the lines is still subject to admin discretion.

Self-antag, at its core, means acting like an antagonist, and admins may pull discretion on this if they believe someone is acting like an antagonist, even if none of the specific binary conditions have been met. If you’re running all across the station and smashing things up just for the sake of it - yeah I’d have to agree that you’re acting like a monkey-brain and are probably deserving of a self-antag ban.

If you are not currently in an antagonist role, do not act like you are an antagonist. As a crew member on the space station, you are allied with Nanotrasen and the station as a whole from the start of the round … Do not cause excessive chaos as a non-antagonist.

Because someone needs to get AA if there is no captain or HoP.

If there is a Captain or HoP, you really aren’t allowed to, but it’s up to the current captain to punish you, up to removal from the round if they wish since you’re valid to them for trying if you get caught in the office.

TL;DR

Don’t behave like an antagonist when you aren’t an antagonist.
I support this ban, especially with how short it is.

Thats just fucking dumb. Breaking into caps is opening the way for antags to get 4 objective items, wheras breaking into brig opens a way to get 2 objective items. Its literally 100% worse to tide into caps, yet somehow opening 2 dumbass lockers is eqivalent of “self antag” cuz someone may steal something and you are “making it easier” for antags.

I didnt break shit randomly, i was powergaming which is apparently allowed on lrp. I didnt commit self antag or valid baiting with grand theft nor did i encourage others to do so. There was no sec this round and in the next 4 minutes from my “self antag incident” i stopped a heretic using brig gear.

And before you say that i should play sec, that aint it chief. Like i said, most of the times i dont wanna just valid the shit out of antags and murderize them. Having brig gear leaves you in comfortable position where you can fuck around most of the round with no threat of someone gamering you in maint. Being sec leaves you with far more responsibility than the gamer gear is worth.

In the end this ban is like 1 day long, so its not particularity the end of the world, but not gonna lie this do be stinky po po moment.

P.S. On the other hand no, this grinds my balls too hard. I didnt even tide outside the birg ( i smashed 1 window into the cmo office before i noticed i dont have a real reason to), the most that could happen to me is becoming valid and getting manhunted across the station with admin watching my ass if i dont lethal anyone on accident. I didnt even try to break into other offices, nor did i tide into caps cuz captain was on board and it would be a dick move. This could literally be sorted out IC considering CMO cought me and we talked about my unfortunate act of vandalism.
