So you are claiming your actions were valid because self defense includes critting players that are arresting you with lethal buckshots even though you had a disabler, then claim that the ban was unfair because you didnt have time to heal them.

Disablers do stamina damage which slows down WHICH can give you time to escape the situation.
I’m probably lacking context, but generally, the only way to brush off pursuers if you don’t have staminacrit items or a spacesuit is to softcrit them. However, if you commited a crime as a non-antag and resisted arrest using non staminacrit items that’s on you. I’d say this appeal mostly depends on why you were being arrested in the first place.
