I wanna see what the people think. I personally find clowns to be more annoying but mimes to be the biggest asholes, they tend to do more physical stuff like shoving you into places than clowns, who pies, honks and slips.

Ok, I’ll actually say in my experience mimes tend to be bigger assholes, but clowns are just annoying on a less salty way and more like “I’m going to do this to make your life miserable because it’s fun”, like lubing front of brig, banana peeling hallways, etc, and one tends to appear more than the other, so.

Clowns at least have some justification to be prankish and a little annoying, they’re like toddlers… Some of them do a good job and very few take it to an extreme that you get like VERY mad at them, but man, the amount of valindhunters mimes really tainted their image it’s like… there’s so many mimes that don’t try to emote and just wordlessly annoy you, shove you, punch you, etc at least with the Clown you can get a justification but the mime not being able to talk makes it a little more annoying and when they don’t put an effort it’s like… a silent greytider that will never answer to you, which leads to never having a ‘‘proper’’ reason or justification for their actions, we have very few mimes that are amazing to play with, Clown population has more decent clowns that bad clowns tbh

Both are capable of being amazingly entertaining and also prone to acts of unpleasant shittery at the same time. I’d have to lean on mimes though.

On average, clowns are more annoying, but when a mime does decide to be annoying, they make clowns look pitiful by comparison.

I agree with Absolucy. If mime wants to be a real asshole then they make your life miserable compared to the clowns. But, on average mimes are cute and friendly and clowns are loud annoyers.

You also have to consider antag clowns vs mimes. At least on traitor/blood bro clowns usually just do somewhat deadlier pranks that involve more antagging while mimes are the most common role for silent green text chasing given they’re… silent by default and unless they decide to just break vow they probably won’t type out emotes while antagging.

That’s just a sample size thing, there’s less mime players than clown players. Everyone and their mother plays clown, while only a few play mime.
