I saw on discord yesterday folk talking about how kudzu lagg the server, subsequently someone mentioned turning lights on and off does too.
The exact next round I saw someone standing flicking a lightswitch on and off for atleast 10 minutes

iirc you can create a cone of darkness with a lamp that can’t be removed or brightened by (at least) any ingame means

I think I made a PR for this but for Plasma men.
With some other Syndicate items.
All walls, floors, machines, objects, limbs, whatever gets tools used on it now have varying fastener shapes and sizes you need to include when building and disassembling.
Trying to undo a wood floor with a screwdriver? Sorry bub you got a Torx head and that screw is a flathead. Get fucked nerd.
Building a new sleeper for Medbay? Well the bolt needs a 10mm socket. What’s that you only have an imperial set? That’s okay you can use a 3/8" or a 7/16" socket for a small 75% failure chance.
Oh and did I mention length matters too? Put a 3 inch screw in a 2 in deep tapped hole and it won’t work. Put a 1 inch screw in the same hole, the machine falls apart on use because there was too much torque on that tiny screw and it sheared off.

Add Plate Carriers like we’re a bunch of Zoomers playing Call of Duty.
Make it a really complicated, underexplained system.
Something like this: you need to buy them from Centcom, they’re expensive. They come empty but there’s a Discovery disk for a machine that you put 5 bars of one material in to get one plate from. Different metal plates have different bonuses and maluses. For example, Plasma is effective at absorbing cold or brute damage. But if hit with a laser, it explodes.
And the best punchline is that it’s just a vest, so it does nothing to protect you from damage not targeting the torso & groin

I believe at one point there was a modular armor PR that let you insert different plates into a vest for different effects. I think I remember it being closed because you could stack armor to a ridiculous degree and you could also become completely immune to magic with a gold plate insert. This is pretty ancient bee lore, I think maybe Victor Pride was the one who made it? Not sure.
