I’d love more captains that actually focused on staff doing their jobs like that, with threaten of demotion if they didn’t fulfil their responsibilites… I like doing my job and doing it well

It is reportable, but it is a grey area so why bother? Being angry to be demoted isn’t unreasonable, but it is annoying.
Something, something, people are getting tired of doing the same thing over and over again.

Replace progress bars with Quick Time Events ala God of War. The actual required actions will be randomized to avoid Meta-knowledge. The complexity would be based on the complexity of a task. For example, wrenching down a canister with a motorized wrench would just require 4 button taps. Cutting open someone’s skull to perform brain surgery, making an aerodynamically ideal banana cream pie out of a banana & an already cooked pie or welding something without goggles would be significantly more complicated.

We should then implement autobans for department objectives not being completed, this way everyone focuses on their part in the job simulator game. This should autoban the entire department, since this will force people to cooperate to keep being able playing and result in more roleplay opportunities.

VRchat is an option if you want zero game and only bar RP / ERP.
In the map vote screen, add a button next to each choice for “Anything except” that station.
Each vote for "anything except (Station) will count as a -1 vote for that station in the weighted random system
That way we can make it even less likely that we get That station nobody likes

Referring to directions on the station using compass directions is ICK-OCK and a bwoinkable offense. Everyone has to start learning nautical directions like Athwartships
