I play this game for fun and amusement; it is therefore a game, no?
Video games can be defined as,
‘a game played by electronically manipulating images produced by a computer program on a monitor or other display.’
Are story-driven games not games because they lack challenge?
Although the thread is locked, I asked you to think on that; you can expand your horizons immensely by trying new things, and not solely focusing on how direct combat works. There is more than just smashing a man with a toolbox; and that is what makes one truly robust at the game.
However, as I said, you cannot always win in this game; you can only try your hardest.
And that’s okay - its part of the enjoyment, because if you won every time, there’d be no joy when you earned a win.
