I have thought about doing something similar with my oozeling character where I would kidnap someone and eat their organs or something in front of them but I doubt anyone would enjoy it.

Looks stable enough. Pump in the cooled down N2 and nothing else.
Well, this was supposed to be a tritium SM. But the problem is that it was only setup to handle one gas to be filtered. So it was either tritium or N2O, not both. Unfortunately I couldn’t test it due to the blob and shuttle.
Attempted this again on the round after without much success. At most we got it to 50% tritium and 50% N2 whilst stable.
Unfortunately we had the same issue here where we only filtered for one gas. The CE then in their infinite wisdom made one single filter capped out to 4 500 kPa in the bottom right of the filter array, which is trying to process up to 10x the filters throughput. It clogged up QUICKLY and the pipes between the 10x filters and the single filter, reaching up to 20 000 kPa. Somehow, this did manage 50% tritium, even if the mol amount was very, very low.

Multi-layering filters only works if you want one gas, or if you have multiple filters on each layer. I see a lot of set ups like this, but usually they get limited to being generic N2 SMs because only its really only got one filter. You could still make this work though, if you were willing to cut down on the layers. 3 layers on top and bottom, each with 2 filters. 6 times throughput is still better than the default one, and I see no reason it wouldn’t be effective.
I mean… I do have eight scrubbers… I could set half of them to filter only tritium and the other half N2, then make a standard filter for each of them.
I’ve seen no filter setups where you add some extra scrubbers, and then split the scrubbers, with half of the scrubbers taking in only the gas you want in the loop, and half the scrubbers taking stuff you dont want in the loop and dumping it directly to space. That could be viable for the means of what you want to do.
