Not many gaps in knowledge here as pointed out by the 230ish hours I have across that department and most questions I expect to come from here are easily code diveable if need be.
Science:
Toxins is my specialty, general research is a given, robotics a bit foggy, nanites and xenobio are a weaker side, artifacts currently has me scratching my head though. Have not played exploration at all.
Engineering:
The only thing I haven’t stuck in the supermatter willingly is tritium and hypernob so I can cover that, I have done every other engine and can explain all of them except the RBMK, that one is a black box to me for now. I can cover the AGR for atmos too. Have yet to dip my toes into advanced atmos beyond a very shitty fusion from a while ago. General construction stuff too of course.
Medical:
I can explain pretty much everything there is in medbay except genetics oddly enough, don’t have much playtime on that console.
Security:
Can cover everything.
Service:
I haven’t memorized a single thing in there, easiest code dives of my life though.
Antagging:
I already backseat antags for sport in dchat. Although I STILL have surface level heretic experience since the day it released.
Find the Prisoner Management Interface located on one of the walls inside the processing area that leads into the prison itself, in there enter the perp’s name with the appropriate button top right, stick the needed infraction on them from that same interface the hit finalize ID and you will be given a prisoner ID.
After that walk into one of the lockers there while still dragging the prisoner and strip them of pretty much everything except their basic clothing so all the items land inside, check the clothing for any loose contraband then close the locker and use the prisoner ID on it so the prisoner can unlock it when they get released, now give them the ID and chuck them in the prison.

For basic o2/n2 operations just turn it on and set it to 230 km depth so it can mine both n2 and o2 at a slightly warmer temperature and at a higher n2 ratio, then put down some pipes to connect the gas rig’s output to it’s fracking input port(right side), this doubles your gas output for free.
The next step would be to attach some thermomachines to that output pipe and set them to about 300K and then add a temperature gate downstream from those thermomachines, multitool it so it only allows gas hotter than indicated and set it to 293K, now the gas you’re mining won’t be freezing cold anymore.

There is nothing analogous to deconverting a heretic like a blood cultist + holy water. The best you can do is stick chemical and tracking implants in them and hope they behave, if they don’t you’re probably going to end up killing them since they can easily escape containment.
It is possible you’re confusing a heretic’s ghoul(they look husked) with a proper heretic, because those CAN be deconverted, by killing them though.

Ask someone with HoP access to get you one, that office has fully functional ones, alternatively you can buy a tablet from “Deluxe Silicate Selections” vendor near science or the tool storage but you will have to also insert all the required parts into it which you can also buy from that vendor before it can act as a PDA, and lastly you can print a PDA shell at the science protolathe but once again it will need parts.
2.I’m making tritium, but my canisters immediately fill up, pls help.
Sounds like you’re not cooling down the tritium, hot gas means high pressure which means high volume which means you can store way less mols of gas in a given container. Before pumping that gas into a canister set up a thermomachine to cool the extracted tritium.
3.I am trying to operate on myself, but the step keeps failing, what do i do?
You likely have too many negative modifiers stacked against you, first of all make sure you’re doing this while laying on top of a table, or even better a surgery table, get a handheld mirror or be next to a mirror structure for another bonus, and use proper surgical tools.

Beyond the monotonous mining which you will have to do to not starve the crew of ore, one of the biggest reasons people play a lot of miner is because of the PvE combat, there is a lot of satisfaction in going from struggling against goliaths and watchers to defeating the megafauna however this involves a lot and i mean a LOT of dying over and over so you might not have the time for that, another thing people like playing miner for is their access to unique items: Strange plants that you can give to botany so they get some exotic reagents, literally the captain’s antique gun, weird clown related items, whatever that syndicate base is hiding, and a lot of useful utility items and weapons from necropolis tendrils.
1.I’m pretty sure AI is malf, how can I check that to confirm and how can I fix that?
Theoretically you can walk into the AI sat with a intellicard to card the AI and directly see it’s laws, of which they would have a Law 0 telling them to accomplish their goals, however way before you get to do that you’re likely going to see a refusal to let you inside, and if you force your way in you will get shot by turrets, dragged out by borgs at best, this lets you live but won’t let you confirm AI being malf letting both of you bide your time until AI inevitably reveals itself, at worst they will straight up shoot you with lethal lasers which pretty much confirms they don’t care about their laws, in either of those cases you’ll want to not be doing this alone.
AI being malf is not something you can fix without killing or carding it.
Additionally if you manage to spot the iconic dark blue APC screens inside the AI sat it’s pretty much guaranteed that AI is malf.

Get access to security records and delete her records there, this will remove them from the crew manifest.
3.How would one complete these 3 bounties consistently :
3.1 Virus bounty
Virus manipulation(which was still RNG) was removed so you can’t make viruses as freely now, the only real way I can think of for achieving that bounty is to order a virus sample crate from cargo and check all of the bottles you just got to see if they have the required stats for the bounty, if not then check how you can combine the viruses you just recieved from that crate to meet your stats, if you still can’t it’s probably not worth it to order another crate and do it again.
3.2 Syndicate documents
Found inside the filing cabinet from the vault of the lavaland syndicate base.
3.3 Alien organs
Acquire a facehugger by opening a xeno egg with a helmet that can stop it from attaching to your face then get them properly contained and grow yourself some xenos to butcher.
Now for the egg itself the least mind numbing way to get it would be from the ruins explo generates.
all very good i think, though for 2. my experience is that even under “good” conditions operating on yourself will have a lot of the steps failing a few times before they succeed.
Yeah it’s not a guaranteed spawn tbf, there’s also a random space ruin that has a floor safe in it which also contains the documents inside it but you can’t really call that consistent either.

Yeah, no idea. Syndicate documents are only spawned in the folder and that is every spawn of the folders I see, if there are syndicate documents on some station they’re probably spawned in some indirect way that doesn’t directly use the folder nor the document typepath.
Combined with the answers to the questions here and your previous application being accepted, all that I ask is going over the staff conduct page for mentors again in case of any changes in the last five years.

So yes, you’ve caught my mistake dastardly plan.
Assuming I wanted to build a BZ farm to get 10.000 moles of BZ, luckily, there is already a chamber set up by a previous atmosian who hung himself trying to solve the same problem. The chamber is two layer adapters pointing towards each other, with two tiles of pipes on all layers in between them, except for 2 filters on layer 1 and 5. Unfortunately, all pressure valves, gates, pumps and mixers have been discontinued, so you can only measure the “““flow””” of gas in L/s. The last requirement is that the BZ will be collected in a canister, in which the gas inside can only be pure BZ no higher than 10 Kelvin (-263.15 degrees Celsius).

What is the minimum amount of thermo machines that you will need to use to meet the requirements and to not let the BZ production to slow down due to the exothermic consequences of BZ synthesis?
Assuming you answered correctly in the previous two questions, how long would it take to get you these 10.000 moles of BZ from the moment you turned on your setup?
Assuming you were aiming for the ideal conditions in question 1, what is one thing you would need to do to get as close to those conditions as you can? HINT 1: There are more than one solutions to this problem HINT 2: One of the solutions is to use the second filter
Plasma and N2O inputs at the top, BZ reaction chamber at the bottom.
The 2 filters at the top in the 5 layer mess act as the “mixer” at 2:1 Plasma:N2O ratio(Plasma is consumed about 2x as much as N2O), the mixture is further controlled by this circuit
This stops the input in the reaction chamber if the pressure goes over 2 kPa, then waits until the reaction occurs, the BZ gets filtered out and the pressure drops below 2 kPa.
In this case as many as possible, because the more efficient your reaction is the faster the temperature and thus pressure goes up.
Admittedly the ratio of gas was either biased for Plasma, or for N2O in the multiple takes I did of this, probably something to do with the amount of gas i was spawning so I got the 10k in like 8 minutes, but the theoretical 100% efficiency at all times BZ-pilled setup could be capable of getting 10k in about 40 seconds for comparison.
Get your pressure as low as possible, this can give your reaction some pretty big multipliers to make it happen very fast, this means you want to remove the produced BZ from the chamber ASAP. Additionally you could even hook a circuit to an air alarm to read the amount of gas in the chamber so you can remove excess of whatever gas is in there to maintain your ratio at all times and so you don’t have gas raising pressure in there for no reason.
