Hello, sorry if you did not like my Police State gimmick.
So here is my side and reasoning’s on why and what was done.
At the Start of the shift, we had no Commanding officers other then AI. I discussed with my fellow security officers and agreed that they would not mind if I took over the Captaincy. With the help from AI I did manage to acquire Captain Access and become the “Head of Police state”.
Reasons why I wanted to relaw the AI:
Not everyone agreed with the Dictatorship rule and some crewmembers decided to organize a Lotusian movement against my rule. Prior to my actions, Lotus already received support from other Loyalists and was evacuated from the AI satelite. After multiple threats and orders from me to return Lotus back to the Satelite, I took the Actions to relaw it to Asiimov but Human replaced with “Police State Officers”. As to force the AI to step down from an internal revolution and to have it help us out in establishing order on the station.
For the record, original laws were Human Asiimov which still excludes multiple crewmembers.
Reason for issuing Lethal harm against Trespassers in brig:
At the point of this order, our station was under attack by Pirates and we still had Loyalists and Greytiders (Sydney Shaw) that were protesting and Trespassing in High secure areas. This was after a trespassing sentence was already given, I noticed that crew continued to kept piling near brig. Considering that the armory was opened and we had steady flow of Cargo armory shipment coming into brig, I ordered my officers, that they may use lethal force, to prevent Trespassers.
Reason for Resisting the HOS:
Prior to the Hos, we had suffered 2 Major Threats: Pirates and MALF AI (LOTUS), both of the antagonists caused multiple explosions across multiple station areas. This lead to the station being in shambles, where every door is locked under fire alarms and massive crew loss. The hos arrived in the middle of this and took a long time to announce anything on the comms, from my view half of the officers didn’t even realize we had a real Hos arrive. After lets say 20 minutes, where I dealt with Lotus finally killing it off for good, I return to brig after announcing evacuation orders to the crew. Upon entering brig, I’m greeted by the Hos, who confronts me on being a Tyrant. I explain my situation and advise that, it is not the best timing to take such actions, as we are in a crisis. I mentioned that It is best to hold it off, until we enter the shuttle. At this point I was charged by the Hos trying to stun and knock me down. In self defense I pull out my Sword and a Telescopic Shield, which I used to block multiple hits and slash a few hits back myself, during this fight I tried to say a few words, trying to calm down the Hos, which were ignored and ironically from my sword block, the Critical blow was dealt. I cuffed the hos, cauterized the bleeding and picked him up, to be brought to safety.
To justify my resistance, when the Hos fell down, Lars (the only nearby officer, that watched the fight) revealed himself to be a Changeling, as well as 2 Pirates started knocking on the windows. CLEARLY INDICATING, THE CRISIS BEING NOT OVER.
Regarding the harm, that was done by the AI
As I’m aware, this was the result of the AI becoming Malf a couple of minutes later after I subverted it to be Police State AI. AI had goals to kill previous Loyalist members and was the main cause, that caused Station Damage.
