Phil Smith + warden of round 18857 player report

yes you absolutely can. If I can’t kill the antag lizard who just killed the captain because someone wants to make it crewsimov I’m allowing human harm. If there is, so far, no reasonable evidence of a threat so far, you have to let the cap or hop into your upload to do whatever but if you think keeping it asimov will protect humans better you absolutely can prevent your laws from being changed.

absolutely. They aren’t human. to the ai they have no more rights than a mouse or simplemob.

exactly.

this also. seccies, please stop anouncing that WE’RE OPENING THE ARMORY TO KILL THIS PROTECTED CREW/HUMAN because no shit now I literally have to stop you because you’ve anounced your intent to do harm

this also. Especially on LRP if the seccies assure you that “we’re just gonna talk to him” (especially if the revvie was being a dick) you can trust the sec (they are security afterall, and sec usually prevents harm) and just go off somewhere while they obviously kill him. Sometimes it’s fine to bend the rules a little bit if doing so is fine with everyone involved and it mean you’re not being a dick/messing with the round ending/and it’s not extremely blatant.

exactly

big big big important line.

nice

exactly.

don’t forget the ahelps lol

law 2 over law 4 unless stating the law causes harm

i would disassemble your ass and deepfry your mmi/pb

You are forgetting about law zero which they can be ordered to never state that law. Never trust a silicon player simply by the laws they tell you. While players shouldn’t be overly paranoid they should pay attention to any suspicious actions. Good hacked or malfunctioned silicon players will try to appear friendly for as long as possible.

A hacked silicon borg would have wisely done the same action Archanial did here because more trusting players would believe a lie that the silicon player is trying to preserve all human/crew life even if that isn’t really the case. The sec player as much of a jerk thing it seemed to actually do the best course of action for security purposes. They don’t have the means to properly check if the borg is compromised right then and there. Plus the borg is running away with a known antag even if it isn’t hacked that Rev head surviving could cause the collapse of the station.

Security should always put the safety of the station. the heads of departments, and lastly loyal crew members. If there is a reasonable instance where a silicon player could be compromised and is doing an action that is overall a determinant to security’s work. It should be expected for security to take action against the silicon player. Whether or not that silicon player is actually compromised or not.

Actually they do. The complaint wouldn’t be filed if he brought me to the robotics (he had all the time in the world, revs weren’t attacking and it was fairly early in the round) where they could disconnect me from AI and even ask me if I had bad laws while connected.

Stop with the compromised silicons. It was early in round, station was delta (super hard to break into upload there) and there was no reports of rogue borgs. If the Phil and the warden had thought the silicons were compromised they would kill another unit that was stationary in brig at the time (and he was security module which actually could be a threat to them).

Have you ever tried taking a borg to Robotics as Security during a Revround?

99% chance you’ll be killed by a screeching greyshirt before you even get it anywhere near Science.

He is under no obligation to bring you to robotics at the time. There is no rule stating nor implied obligation within the game itself stating security are required to hand over broken down borgs to robotics. Also as you, yourself have already established it was a rev round which smart Revs will try to tactfully convert important staff and robotics crew is a clearly and obvious choice. Even hiding your broken down shell was a smart move from him for security reasons.

Just accept it, you were put into a bad situation like silicon players often face where things are very unlikely to be favorable to you in the end. It happens all the time and if you can’t handle this then there are plenty of other roles you can play instead.

I had a lot of time to rethink this report and I will be retracting it. Admins didn’t seem to care and while I still don’t agree with everything both of the assailants did I think my other compliants are much more importart and other than that interaction I think Phil is really cool guy.
@GameAdmin plz close.
