Incident Description: Drip is a meme. Among Drip, Goku Drip, He will never have drip spews cereal, all memes. Station was named “Drip Station”, and the HoS repeatedly kept bringing drip up.

Kane mostly but lots of people talking about Drip which is a meme.

Pretty obvious to me that it’s a meme and referencing a meme, literally never heard it used except in reference to the meme of fictional characters wearing nice street clothes.

Mc_Meiler, a headmin, said crew doesn’t know all antags. Also, the rules say you aren’t supposed to deliberately put yourself in danger as non-sec. Over half a dozen people immediately thought there was a blob, and botany tried to hand out death nettles to fight the blob off of a vague biohazard warning.

This would be a valid point if people didn’t literally drop everything to hunt le bad guy on a roleplay server. Even on Nukies cap still has to authorize gearing up to fight them, and a blob is not nukies.

Assistant with a baseball bat was wandering halls to fight the self aware killer vending machines, which goes against “You are not a warrior” and all that. Guy was named Risky Jenkins, and Risky is not a real human name either.

Yeah I did regret handing out death nettles and I agree I should been noted at the very least for it, since blob was unconfirmed and sec didn’t approve it.

I’ll be honest I was just super bored and mass producing death nettles made me FEEL useful.

From what I understand the protocal is ask and then you can make your mega death mix tomatoes

I think the eternal issue of botany is that it becomes an RP job after a while, and if no one is RPing it’s hard to get people to not do stuff like that, same case with geneticist, once everything is set up you don’t have all that much to do, doesn’t change that it does fall on security to make sure they’re not doing these things.

As said on the other report, this isn’t a ruling. This is me mentioning metagaming rules exist. Stop acting as if this is a ruling.

First off, the easy things.
Blob is one of those station-wide threads that’s more of a “do or die” situation. You can’t really validhunt it.
However the announcement itself probably shouldn’t mean much to regular crew, as all they would hear is “level 5 biohazard” with nothing added on top.

“Risky Jenkins” as a name is utterly fucking awful and not a real name. Mega seems to have misread your ahelp, judging by the response.

Now onto the big one. The drip thing.

This is… Definitely something. I would consider this LRP in this context, personally.
The rather dismissive ticket is… Also very iffy.

Needless to say, I’ve had a conversation with them about this.
