I’ve noticed some members of the community, both non-staff and staff, have a hard on for that. It’s a thing about personality and control and it’s unfortunate because, as you said, there are policies that regulate disruptive gameplay and non-disruptive.
Regulations on non-disruptive conduct are always going to be a sticking point because it boils down to personal taste and trying to get people on board with dictating how server thinks and acts. On that grey scale you have shit almost everyone can get onboard with like don’t name your character N*word Jim(this is a reference to Mark Twain’s Huckleberry Finn please don’t give me a banerino for using it an example), and then the other end of the spectrum where you’re hard pressed to get support against Nick Dorito or Unga.
Both camps have been making mountains out of molehills and need to chill out though. The staff reeeing about names that aren’t something like “Penis Shitter McFuckass” are just as cringe as the players reeing about Doritos. A little chill goes a long way and there could be so much more impactful contributions by both players and staff than this tbqh fam.

Because all of you are reeing over nothing, and literally no problem has to be solved for you, because YOU are the problem, since golden is what ideally should be the place for what takes place on our mrp server, as in: its a rather low level of roleplay which allows a lot of freedom, even in naming. Instead you take the server which is supposed to be strict with its rules and restrictive in its regulations and try to turn it into a mislabeled lrp2 server.
I play on mrp for roleplay. Nick Dorito has never broken anyone’s immersion. Please give me one person who had his game ruined by seeing nick dorito
He doesnt need to break my immersion to be on the fence for a rulebreak. I may not be against nick dorito, but im against him challenging the rule i very much like, and if he is given a pass to the rule i want to be enforced im gonna be unhappy.
