if u know jacktheling and if you’ve played rounds with them, then you know they tend to valid hunt as an assistant. while validhunting on golden is allowed, and I’m glad it is, validhunting the way jacktheling does it should not be allowed!
let me break down a step by step on what i typically observe rebel doing on a round by round basis
*possibly incomplete
**applies to all antagonist gamemodes where Rebel does NOT roll antag
-
sign on as an assistant without rolling antag

greytide armory and cap’s office (though sometimes they’re able to convince cap to give AA)
-
equip a combo of non lethal weapons, lethal weapons, and armor (typically reflector vest)
-
detain random people by disabling first, then checking for valid items
5a) if rebel finds something valid the majority of the times they just kill you
5b) if ur caught running from a random validhunting axe wielding assistant who’s firing a disabler at u uh oh! you’re valid according to rebel! it’s permabrig or worse!!
- rinse and repeat on a round by round basis!
now, i’m definitely not the only one to have an issue with this, and it almost seemed like some of the admins were planning on doing something about it and theeeeeeeeeeeen they didn’t.
the problem here is in no way should it make u valid to run from an ASSISTANT who is trying to detain u! instead it should make THEM valid. and i’m not even saying this because i hate rebel (which if ur reading rebel i appreciate u not hating me back haha jk fuck you) i’m saying this because it’s HORRIBLE to play with. it’s NOT FUN for anyone except rebel, and it’s BULLSHIT to say we have to deal with it IC if we have a problem with it.

I have to say i’m beyond grateful to have the opinion of someone who DOESN’T PLAY ON LRP, determine what’s self-antag or not ON LRP. it’s TRULY A BLESSING. i might add that another LRP HEAVY admin disagreed with Kasual, but I guess that didn’t make a difference! THE FUTURE IS clearly BRIGHT!

You’re not valid for running from me, I have never killed some one who ran from me. Just if you do I will hold you responsible for all your crimes since I am nice enough to ask to search you first. Let’s say I ask to search you, you let me and find a miniature e-gun or some weapons. I wont take it and wont do anything about it. If I ask to search you, you run and I catch you and you have an energy gun or anything I will confiscate it and set you some time in brig and if you have any special items I may perma brig you for it. Though this has not always been the case because I do sometimes just say fuck it and just confiscate it
For special items I confiscate it no matter what and obviously I kill people with traitor items when they give me no context for why they have it
Everyone knows I do not valid hunt people who do not have it coming to them I have said this multiple times.

You saying something is not everyone saying something. There’s a general concensus of people who don’t like you. And honestly I don’t really like you either. You either beg me for AA, pester with some validbait shit or do something ridiculous like tide the station as warden.
I don’t really mind most shit but you’re just generally an unlikeable player, I just can’t see any redeeming qualities. There’s nothing fun added to the round ever.
