Appeal Reason:
I find pretty mind blowing that in a server full of adults with no minors allowed where I can send GIFs of barely clothed dudes wrestling each other somehow telling someone you were friendly jabbing with “haha I had sex with your mom call me dad now” is “going past the boundaries”.
This is like if 2 dudes were sitted on a bar having a drink and someone made a joke about the other, both laughed and one of the bouncers came to warn one of them because they went past the boundaries. None of us had any problem with the other one’s comment but somehow that was a rulebreak
If the problem is the word “inseminated” then the problem is the wording and not the joke, so a whole point for saying that word (which can be more serious and I could see why it would be an ick if you were specially sensible to the topic) is just insane. The other option is that I did get a point for saying a teenager tier joke, which would be even sadder.
It’s a particularly unsettling way to say “I fucked your mom” as a joke. This was made into a warning after a brief discussion involving other staff that agreed.
I’m setting this to lock on a timer so they can weigh in if they wish. I’m not against overturning this if I’m out of touch with what we consider “gross and uncomfortable”, but I’m confident as it stands right now.
I disagree with putting a whole whoping point for a single word that it isn’t a slur, a bard word (because it isnt) or an insult but rather just “unsettling”.
I would like to say varo has “had sex” with my mom multiple times in the past, and every time he finds a new eloquent way of informing me.
I don’t mind him, I know he would stop if I told him I didn’t like it.
And my mother is very good looking so I understand he is proud of his achievements.
If anything, he understands now this specific word is ugly and won’t use it in the future.
Further discussion beyond the initial one has shown a split among the admins on whether it should be a pointed warning or not, but when I went to reduce it to zero points it didn’t work because you have left the discord server.

Keep in mind these remarks are still not acceptable moving forward, the main reason I was swayed was due to the opinion being mixed and how long it has been since the prior related warning.
