It isn’t subverting CoC. It’s a greenshift. Captain has to go, asks for volunteers from heads. No answers, so picks someone reasonably sensible and makes them captain. Not acting captain, that distinction was not made. New new captain arrives, and instead of trying to understand the situation resorts immediately to violence. Your explanation of “why it is subverting CoC” completely ignores the points made earlier in the thread.

That’s Kasual’s personal opinion. Common sense is a rule on its own, common sense would dictate that the captain isn’t lord emperor of his private station but he is in fact an employee of NanoTrasen himself and doesn’t have the power to overthrow the company’s interests.
Not by either creating some democratic election which has no place in the business environment of NT or creating full captains who subvert the NT appointed ones.
I also already stated this in detail but once again you ignore it because you’re either lazy or it doesn’t go with your point of view.
Why even make people Cryo if this is the way things are handled. It’s LRP behaviour lmao. I don’t mind it but I mind the hypocrisy.
Locking and not actually discussing the topic/countering valid arguments is signs of bad conduct in a server though. It be like that sometimes.

Since we have no rule baring a captain from promoting another person to full captain, effectively there were two captains. Common sense rule doesn’t work here since both sides have valid arguments. Without a rule preventing second captainship Kate had as much reason IC as barry to defend the position when attacked, although this could have been avoided with some paying attention or without possible feigned ignorance.
Going to lift the ban, and put a vote to council regarding whether a captain can full promote a second captain or not. Both sides would be legitimate, but since this issue has happened before needs a clear ruling.
Kate however in general does have a bad tendency with MRP, and should also recognize that there is little to no room left with the current history for any more RP breaks.
