[Elchorico] Unfunny Lowpop murderbone report

Emagging is in bad faith but fine. Proceeding to hijack and build up a higher bodycount of those who resist the kidnapping is not.

The main cabin… are you mistaking the bridge for the cockpit? - the bridge is an area on station, the cockpit is the command area on the shuttle

Okay, Eats didn’t build up the body count. He defended himself from the chemist by what the chemist said.

Eats and the chemist were in the cockpit. Bridge of the ship sorry.

Like I said, I’m going to bed. I watched the QM the entire round. I didn’t see murder boning. All I thought was shitty was a 10 second shuttle timer, whatever. I wouldn’t zonk an obviously good player for that.

This is pretty hilarious considering Colonel was the deputy with the esword who stopped fighting the “super serious threat” of 10 vine tiles to randomly bag search someone for calling them out for having an esword. Colonel has already admitted all but the last paragraph of this report wasn’t against the rules, and there’s no rule AFAIK saying traitors can’t hijack just because they don’t have it as objective.

While there are rules about security running around with traitor items.

Vines were huge before, I applied an appropriate amount of force to them. Power was going down due to vines exploding shit or something, and I did not know the vine count, so I began to esword them. Hijacking only to lead to a higher bodycount and knowing this is shitty, and from my interpretation breaks 13.4 - vines can totally fuck a station if given the appropriate amount of time, spawning very strong enemies and such. Using a powerful item to stop this on lowpop is appropriate.

Vines only got to about 20 tiles total, and you had the esword before you even saw the vines and were using it.

I was not given time to return the esword to contraband, due to power failures and vines. Then there were more vines. - Earlier in the shift vines had eaten the entirety of dorms, dorm maintenance, and spread all the way to HoP office. There were also swarmers in the gateway I was tasked with killing.

Well just make a player report then, dont overcrowd this thread with off topic stuff.

You know you will die if you do too, i doubt realistically anyone would want to suicide in that way, the whole point of roleplaying is to pretend you aren’t playing a game, you and rest who stood in a killer’s way are roleplaying a war veteran hero i suppose.

  1. Contraband use by sec is big no no and only when authorized in an emergency can they be used by security (not deputies since they dont count as “security” in the sense the rules were written up in since deputies did not exist then but thats moot) Extra note is that a welder is just as good for killing vines.

  2. Note… All of command and sec are free game to be killed on sight without a single word no matter what.

  3. Emagging the shuttle is fair to do to launch the shuttle early if you are “made” as they say since you can limit the amount of crew that get on and those that do and do not buckle get stunned (pods are a 1x2 shovers paradise)

  4. Hijacking (doing the console fuckery) is a grey area in the sense that it simply sends the shuttle to nukie base and shortens the flight alot limiting the amount of time the shuttle spends in hyperspace. RP wise its basically kidnapping everyone on the shuttle which is fine.

  5. The medics stumbling on the scene of people dying can choose to try and fight, but if they were prepared to fight beforehand as “just incase” it would be bad. but they died easily enough so they were chumps.

ikr this looks pretty open and shut, this could probably be solved from attack logs alone.

(Eats-The-Body) was assigned the following objective automatically: Steal the Captain’s jetpack.
(Eats-The-Body) was assigned the following objective automatically: Assassinate Aaron Marthin, the Chief Engineer.
(Eats-The-Body) was assigned the following objective automatically: Escape on the shuttle or an escape pod alive and without being in custody.

By logs count there were 5 x “seizes up and falls limp, her eyes dead and lifeless” resulting from Elchorico. Three were in the maint area all ontop of each other. Two on the shuttle.
Emagging the shuttle to speed up the time after going loud is fair in my opinion, if it is the safest option to stay alive.

Hijacking the shuttle as in : killing everyone on it so that you are the sole owner,
is slightly different from dabbing a funny card on the screen to leave faster, so that additional valid hunters don’t try their luck. I pose that it easily falls under “Escape on the shuttle or an escape pod alive”, especially in this circumstance when people have shown they attempt to valid hunt the heavily armed lizard as a paramedic and such. There is at least a page worth of say logs to back up :

This above is very accurate.

Is more than ample warning from a lizard with an assault rifle pointed at you. As you can see these are spaced out over different times as well. Out of a round with 32 players in it, killing 5, with the above reasoning and circumstance, would not fall under murderbone. With the shuttle looked over above that, it also appears to be fair.
