Just saying how it is, I don’t think it’s exactly a secret who the main demographic of ERP servers is.
Back when we had looser policy on ERP who do you think was spamming WGW, screaming that they are coooming and similar crap, if they were also active on forum or discord you could really tell it was mostly teenagers who found a place to say things they normally can’t

I agree with you. We are 18+ now. If people cant handle themselves like adults and we dont treat them like adults that shouldnt be the case then.
If we keep the filter for explicitly written netspeak (Like Thx and words containing numbers.) but remove it for things you can literally say that arent pure netspeak (Omg, Lol, Nya, ect.) then it would be fair.

TLDR: Please ban NYA for fucks sake. It’s annoying, pointless, and contributes nothing to RP. It’s more of a meme than a word(see: sus, amogus, etc.).
Except this is an english speaking server. You should not be saying words in other languages.

English is the primary language of the server. You are expected to keep your communications within the server and the discord in English, so that other players may understand you.
Also nobody who is saying Nya is using it as a word in another language, so this argument to justify it’s use is absolutely pointless.
Not to mention, it is meant to be a linguistic representation of what cats sound like(Accuracy is iffy, but that is generally the intent). Ergo, this should be something EMOTED and not said. Moreover, there are better more descriptive words to describe the sounds cats make. So using nya is not only inaccurate, but absolutely pathetic and low effort.
