" Hello I was the brig physician that fatefull round.

I want to start by saying that I was the one who suggested Brainwashing as I saw it as more humane than clipping the wings as was ordered originally. After the suggestion, HoS basically said “yeah or you can do that” (or something like that )so they did not directly order me to brainwash them if that is what is the main issue here. If you see this as a rule break you can ban me I guess. I didn’t perceive it as a rule break and you seem to cite security SoP to medical personnel?

Also don’t know what kind of torture was done that leads the Doktorwueue to conclude it was so uncomfortable (they didn’t LOOC about this to my knowledge). But they accused me of torturing them by simply doing the implant removal surgery (i put them to sleep with morphine ).

they suggested they got flashed multiple times even though they didn’t resist and that is untue as they resisted and broke free and shoved me few times and somehow even resisted during surgery when asleep form morphine. (also all the time surgery took was also deduced from their time served so they were let go right after despite them resting and breking free few times which should have pronged their setence)

I also admit that while I didn’t lie in ahelp I did not correct the admin when they said “you get away with this because you were ordered” which I technically didn’t specifically get ordered to do as mentioned previously.

Later the moth antag I operated on showed me and then hit me with oxygen tank but as they are antagonists they don’t have to follow escalation policy even on nontargets I guess?

sorry if the post is a mess i re-edited it many times as I do feel responsible although more for getting hos catch the blame for brainwashing than my behavior in the round.

Alrighty so this is a bit of an interesting admin report. Huge apologies for taking so incredibly long to resolve this.

The main point of the report is the ruling and the corresponding note issued by zoom9337. Which stated that brainwashing as security under any circumstances is not allowed.

Now that is in and of itself not quite correct. Brainwashing is allowed as another form of “final” punishment. For example instead of perma arresting someone or executing them. In these cases the brainwashing surgery has to be researched though. As using a syndicate brainwashing disk would be using contraband.

If someone turns out to be a traitor, which is not a capital crime, then brainwashing them would not be okay. In this situation, the brainwashing was due to the traitor not confessing. Which would’ve not warranted a brainwashing. Ontop of that “torture” is in and of itself an extremely thin line to walk. And in 99% of all cases goes against R7, the “Be excellent to each other” rule.

Nothing of this breaks admin conduct as you were in the wrong when you decided to brainwash the person. The only difference is that brainwashing is allowed under certain circumstances, as described above. Which @zoom9337 has now been made aware of. Thank you for the report though, and apologies again for letting it sit this long.
