Round ID: 46734

Playing explorer, rolled blood brothers with the QM Pete Dart, played by Joelogbybolb.
Decided to try the budget abductor gimmick, with the twist of getting alien surgery to brainwash people into funny goals and sow some chaos. (was planning to do a bit more with the goals this time, even though it’s been stated that recruiting people with brainwashing is perfectly valid by staff.)
Pete wanted to just round remove sec, which is fine (we had murderbone) but I just don’t like RR. We talked about this IC.
Shuttle gets called just as we get everything set up, of course, and we don’t get to actually use any of the gear we’ve prepared. So far, so normal.

Then I get messaged by Wue who starts Ick Ock heckling me in DMs, while the round is going!
Hasn’t even seen us actually do anything yet, just the set-up, and has decided I deserve OOC heckling!?
Unbelievably rude! CERTAINLY not what I expect from staff!

I told him to knock it off, and he doubles down, thereby making me decide to raise this.

This wasn’t forgotten, although I misremembered the timeframe and thought it wasn’t as old.

I wanted to let the end of the year period pass before processing it.

Again, I apologize for not writing this down correctly in my agenda.

Dming players on discord while a round is ongoing to criticize them isn’t behaviour acceptable under the current standards set in place for staff members.

While disagreements and arguments are allowed, there is a way to go about them that doesn’t breed negativity and distrust in the community. Players shouldn’t expect to receive negative dms on discord while playing like what has been showcased in this report.

We’ve approached Wue to discuss this and to firmly warn them about this behaviour, they acknowledged the issue and promised to improve.
