Antag Conduct: Try to avoid unnecessary carnage that ultimately just ruins the round for other players, unless said players are your target.
Incident Description:
Completely ignored heretic objectives and instead decided to tide all the best gear on the station and murderbone. Killed the HoS and used their gun and somehow got the Captain’s riot armor. Did not make an attempt to actually sacrifice a target until all of the command staff and security team was already dead.
Completely failed their antag objectives and only managed to sacrifice ONE PERSON. This was also on relatively low pop (less than 30 players).
Additional Information:
I know Heretic is a lame antag with miserable gimmicks that are difficult to actually win with but that doesn’t mean it just becomes an excuse to murderbone the greytide way.
This is the kind of bullshit I’d expect on golden.
This is low RP, even no RP. It’s also in incredibly poor taste.
And it toxifies the atmosphere of the entire server for people to behave like this. Other players are going to get the message that they should be “more robust,” i.e. always stocking up on gamer gear and “self defense grenades” just in case someone murderbones. That’s outright poison.
And no, there’s no problem with a heretic murdering for the sake of their objectives but you outright ignored all of your objectives. In the entire time I observed you, you only even used a heretic spell once and the only time you made a sacrifice was after killing 90% of the station.
If you’re only going to enable an antag as an excuse to tide and murderbone then go to golden.
They wiped security and command and then proceeded to murderbone. After a while of murderboning they placed a rune, looked for a target using the heart, got them, sacrificed them… and then went back to murderboning.
The content here is undeniable so that’s what I’m relying on. I strongly believe the intent from the start was to murderbone with very little (if any) intent to actually do heretic objectives, and they simply realized halfway through the murderbone that they needed to create a smokescreen of plausible deniability by at least sacrificing one person. For fuck’s sake they had a protect objective that they COMPLETELY IGNORED.
Also if someone is well-versed enough in the game to not only know how to murderbone but to actually pull it off, it’s safe to assume they should also be well-versed enough to know how the antag they’re playing works.
Unless of course they have no idea how that antag works and only enabled it as an excuse to murderbone.
Also, Archanial, this is on Sage. This is not golden.
You didn’t stick around long enough to extract the hearts from the bodies. You had plenty of corpses to get hearts from since the majority of the station was dead. There’s surgery and the holodeck or you could have just used the fire axe you had free access to because you wiped the entirety of the command staff
I did have enough bodies to make hearts and for my ascension, I just got cucked by the shuttle I called.
You need at least five corpses to ascend, I was piling them onto my rune in the halls. But, you can’t skip all the way to Godhood. Which, kind of sucks.
EDIT:
my bad you only need three I looked at the wiki.
Killing security without causing collateral damage is 100% A-Okay. I don’t believe this applies to the murder of non-HoS command unless they caught you doing Heretic stuff/are trying to stop you etc, but attacking sec without being attacked first is allowed even on MRP.
I would recommend reading antag conduct before making a report on a player for their behavior as an antag.
Nobody even acted on it or believed me. Also don’t act like you actually thought what you were doing through, you were just rampaging from the moment you got the HoS gear.
I was a confirmed antag, what am I meant to do? Cower and die, not kill the person that called me out as revenge, ignore security. What do you want, I’m willing to pay five bucks.
And nothing in your report mentions that said people were not security/witnesses/fighting them to begin with. Maybe you should have started with this part.
