Incident Description:
Whenever bombs discovers a traitor, he always charges them with 405 EOC instead of 205. It is LITERALLY said in space law to charge them with 205 instead but he interprets " Membership of the syndicate with no actual actions should be charged under Code 205." as “if someone did something than just stand around as a syndie, they are immediately an EOC.”. I also fed them a cookie and was immediately arrested for assault even though literally no physical force was used whatsoever and when I stole his baton and beat him with it, he searched me because I had contraband in the form of his baton. Always tries to get the highest crime and generally tried to whack the valid (I know he’s security but he’s looking for problems where they don’t exist)
Additional Information:
You charge traitors that commited crimes as 405 EoC as stated in the description of it " Membership of the syndicate with no ** actual actions ** should be charged under [Code 205]" and let me show you 205 which is hostile agent "Being a traitor while having committed no other ** actual crimes ** should be charged under this.', i’ve tried explaining this a MILLION times but you just… didnt ever understand.
Also i forgot to respond to this but you forced a cookie down my throat (ingame) after that i let you go after 2 minutes where you IMMEDIATELY attack me steal my baton and beat me with it and then i put you in cuffs and kept you on the shuttle, the part where spacelaw EoC or hostile agent is in no way involved with it, i charged you with contraband NOT hostile agent or EoC after i put you in cuffs.
After i uncuffed him in the shuttle and i was recharging my baton in the baton charger in the evac sec room he ran into it grabbed it and batoned me, pretty uncalled for if you ask me after giving them a 2 minute sentance for assult.
There was also no esculation in between that, and the rules he put up that i apparently broke are just random rules he found? In my opinion he broke some rules doing that, specifically rule 1 (you dont run into a sec room steal a baton then beat a secoff with it), and the esculation policy ( they did that without shoving or warning and they couldent have even upgraded the level as they where the agressor.
I am not an expert in the rule category but I believe doing opposite of what is explicitly said in space law and trying to arrest everyone who touches you and trying to execute all traitors may just be against the rules
Bring that up on the salt mines on discord, the report is for the admins to decide upon. If they want to ask for more context they will. Arguing on reports can get it locked till resolved.
Alright, this report has been made in such bad faith that after discussion with other staff, it has been decided that it is going to act as the last straw for your time on Bee @Billcyferka
I ran a search to look at everything both you and the reported player said, as well as the interactions that took place. The round started with this as part of the exchange when you had just arrived:
This is clearly being brought up from prior rounds and also very OOC considering you have had almost no exchanges so far this round, aside from mocking him for greeting people who arrived at the station.
Then the fight goes more or less as described here:
You forcibly feed an unknown item to the security officer, and they react by stunning and cuffing you + charging you with assault. This is a valid case to use the assault charge - assault doesn’t have to be harmful, even in the real world spitting on someone is legally classified as assault. Force =/= harm.
