If you accidentally end up involved in a role that pushes on a boundary it’s fine as long as you aren’t explicitly taking command, security or are working on an isolated solo project that other players can’t participate in.

You never appended that to any documentation and I forgot which admin said this. If I had been asked “What am I doing?” by another admin I could’ve been so screwed. So I was caught walking a tightrope. As you can imagine(maybe) this was very stressful.

What you’re leaving out about that interaction is that Sting saw me typing because I have chat bubble enabled, I was standing still, and he decided to shoot me rather than talk after starting a conversation.
Isn’t that chat baiting?

What I have issue with is that you are barely saying anything or engaging in RP, and then have the gall to complain that someone else is barely talking to you before punishing you for your own actions of mostly silently doing crime

This was a awful round to me for 95% of the duration. Medbay refused to heal me because I was broke so I spent a lot of the round searching for medical supplies to try to get rid of the awful red halo around my HUD.

Yes, I let my hair down and tided medbay a bit in revenge. Considering Security were allowed to do cold blooded murder how were my actions approaching anything worse than what they did?

Everyone else was stealing whatever wasn’t nailed down and taking it back to their department.
Security were shitburglars who took center stage so nobody even noticed me most of the time.
Then I got killed by Sting and wasn’t even sure I was going to get revived.
When I finally did get a chance to RP it was near the end and the shuttle was called but I got to interact as “The Man with No Nation” and people were pretty cool about it. I was pretty sad the round ended so abruptly when I had found a place, that sucked a lot.
Maybe I could even say 100% of the round sucked since when I finally found a role I could be the round ended.

In your second round after the ban you did a self-defense by welderbombing yourself and someone else.

Yes. I made a huge mistake here. I’m sorry. I had set up the situation since we were under attack, then my partner botanist convinced me to do something else, and as we were about to do her plan(not sure what) we got attacked and I still had the welder in hand and the tank right next to me so in a fraction of a second I made a bad decision.
I took the remedial step after this of never setting myself up in this situation again.

Yes, I was exhausted. at work we were getting caught up after being shut down for 4 days from winter weather. I just wanted to play some relaxed space man and take it easy.

While this was going on, multiple people expressed concern for your IRL wellbeing including myself reaching out as an admin to ask if you were okay, and then explaining why you didn’t seem okay because you were just sitting entirely stationary for hours.

While being exhausted it was hard to ignore that I felt as if I had been cheated to get a ban shoved through. The feeling of being too tired and not really having a way to fight back fucked with me a lot.

hours spent sitting at a single plant trough, growing it, throwing it in the bin and growing it again.

Less trays = Less carpal tunnel. I hate jobs that are nothing but click-fests they tear up my hands and on top of that Bees has some mushy controls that take multiple clicks to register. The plants are kind of worthless unless I do mutations so I just threw them out when I was done I genuinely didn’t think it would upset anyone.

These were fantastic ways to communicate IC that you’re not allowed/able to do some jobs.

I got a bit sloppy but they were still IC enough to be IC I tried to be careful.
If you don’t mind me asking is this the specific reason why my ban was escalated?

The role ban was supposed to be permanent until appealed, with the earliest appeal being after two months.

I knew this but the end of that 60 days was something I had a goal for.

A little over two weeks ago you were clocked on your third offense for something egregious enough to warrant an immediate permanent ban

Except actually look at the complaint. I agree RKz has some issues to be addressed but he essentially hijacks the complaint, lists all new issues, draws a conclusion, and then shuts down the complaint before I can respond. I’m then told that essentially I can’t appeal this decision for 60 days.
How much of that complaint even looks like RKz was addressing the player’s complaint?

The secondary issue I’m having with this is at no point was it made clear to me I was on such thin ice until the recent series of job bans. We went from 2-day ban to that.
