Powergaming / Validhunting. As a mime, kept a syndicate throwing weapon kit and used it later after following the trail of a heretic into said heretics base before stunning them with the planes whilst a doctor (their roommate IRL) killed them with a saw. Did not understand why a mime could not do this.

Appeal Reason:
Missing context. There were no security present to my knowledge when the heretic in question was placing runes and converting the tables in the sci and med lobbies into armor (pretty funny) and threatening to gut people with their blade. The paramedic was threatened so, announced that, and me being the ever helpful mime try to give them one of the bolas (which had come from the box spawned roundstart in the bar). Heretic later comes into medical and I do my best to get in between them and the paramed (again, no sec around) and miss both bolas, and get them with two throwing stars instead. I didnt think this was that bad because it got them to leave them alone. Things later cool down, I start getting bored, decide to mess with the heretic a little bit. Follow them to their bathroom lair and throw a plane at them and run off. Come back later to do it again except this time Mikel is there; I throw the planes again and run off, come back to the heretic beat by medical saw, and their body gets stolen by another heretic. After that I kinda just stayed out of everyones way because there was a brig phys and a peacekeeper shell around. Hanging out in the kitchen, someone is shoving people into the kitchen “because we’re low on meat” and I retaliate when I’m shoved, by chucking stars at them. Summarily banned.
I doubt this will do anything to get me unbanned (its a day anyway I dont mind that much), but I just want the situation around it to be known better than “theyre a powergamer piece of shit who stomps antags and doesnt let people have fun”.

This has been said quite often because of current efforts to make deputising easier when there’s no sec.

The problem isn’t “non-sec fights antags while there’s no sec”. Problem is how that player chooses to fight them.

People now have easy avenues to fight antags should there be no sec.

The helpful mime would get himself a deputy kit not start throwing ninja stars around. And I believe this is the main issue.

ALSO:

On escalation.

The response to a shove should be either another shove or if you’re not the agressor unarmed combat.

Stars are considered lethal weapons!

I was the Heretic in question Actias Noctis , a moth and janitor. so Allison Khan is not the Heretic talked about here from thats round.

I forgot to resolve this when I came to a conclusion, but the short of it is there was a captain and AI with defender working on the heretic problem, and you could have become a deputy if you wanted to assist but instead you did this.
