Non-antag robo slimes half the station with a syringe gun. Appeal Reason:
-maybe my little communication deficiency confuses me I really thought I was helping the staff working on xenon, I really ask that I considered my appeal because for me it is unbalanced to be permanently banned, I really am willing to learn the game, besides that only once I took a warning of adiministration.
There is definitely concern with your fluency in English, both reading and writing. This is a role-playing server and good communication is important to RP.
How do you consider shooting people with syringes helping them?
I do believe you weren’t trying to grief at this point, but based on your posts (one of which I can’t understand at all) and how you were communicating in-game as well:
I really don’t believe you are going to be able to fully understand our rules. We don’t expect perfection by any means, but I also question how well you’ll be able to uphold any level of RP with language as broken as this and a misunderstanding so steep as to think what you were doing was okay in that round.
I’m not going to single-handedly close this based on that though, so if you can answer a few questions for me I’ll reconsider:
Beestation is an RP server and also 18+, does this mean we allow erotic roleplay if you really liked someone and wanted to do something special in the bed?
Antagonists help to drive the story of the round and like to cause chaos. If a round is boring is it a good idea to act like an antagonist?
If you are playing as a janitor, what would you do if you see another player pull a gun and start shooting a doctor?
I understand that my language is broken in some certain situations, but it is more in moments when I am under pressure, when I have time I can develop a conversation.
2nd I understand perfectly that you shouldn’t act as an antagonist, no matter how boring the round is, because if everyone thought like that it wouldn’t be an rp game, the game already has antagonists defined for that. 3rd establishing that I have no reaction with the doctor and no reason that makes me really want to help him, I would simply run and call a security guard, it doesn’t make sense for me to risk my life for someone I don’t know, only if there is something very well developed behind it .
Regarding the first question, I don’t really know how to answer that, I understand that real-life factors cannot affect my Rp since it’s just a character, but I’m not very interested in that even because I’m married.
You’ve proven you’re trying really hard to understand the rules of the server if nothing else. If the language barrier proves to be too much to overcome when doing RP or understanding future rules though, this will likely be re-applied.
Taking the time to explain each rule in detail due to a lack of understanding of the language is going to be too much of a drain on staff, and also potentially ruin the game for others around you due to those misunderstandings.
