After reading the post, I’ve tried to analyze the philosophical meaning behind word “The” with utmost interest.
Now usually, article ‘the’ is denoting one or more people or things already mentioned or assumed to be common knowledge,
Or
used to point forward to a following qualifying or defining clause or phrase.
Here however, it takes unusual form of emptiness, showing little to no emotion when used alone as one word.
We may conclude that the author is trying to say that us humans are nothing without each other, where as trust and love in humanity matter the most, and when we abandon our friends, we further stray away from what we already are and become this empty space floating in the void, with no one to share feelings with and no one to love or be loved to…
But hey, that’s just a theory, A BEEEEEE THEORY
