What restrictions?
The only jobs that can get slapped with dereliction of duty in practice, are command, engineers, miners and explorers. The latter two only rarely at that, since you have to actively try not to do the bare minimum at those jobs. Everyone else relies on those jobs for the station to function.
Nobody will care about what you do as an assistant as long as you don’t break space law, or “legally” accumulate validhunting gear. Nobody will care what you do as any non-vital job as long as you don’t break space law.
How can you not have time? The most time sensitive job takes about 5 minutes or less to finish, and that’s setting up supermatter. Which jobs are so stressful that don’t have time? You’re just exaggerating and making drama.
