You don’t talk about a “unified direction” from a philosophical point of view, but instead a practical one. I would use other words to describe that in the title.
The question is redundant because the answer is… of course we want better organization and coordination.
Regarding the question of philosophical unity I already made a post about that. I think the question for every addition or change should be tempered with the question:
“Does this idea encourage RP and interactions?”
For example: Does then engineering department encourage enough RP to combat the fact that it is, in essence, a bit lag machine? My opinion is: not even close. So we need to change or remove the engi department in some way.
Note that I want job and things that encourage RP. Not just thing that theoretically allow it.
Etc. Etc.
