Here are some questions.

HOP/Command

  1. 2 players are presented to brig, both with the same facial identity. Both claim to be the true crewmember, there is no experimental cloner in maints either and both claim they didnt die to a ling. How as a HOP do you ascertain which is real without any extreme measures

Engineering
2. A sm accident has left all your items glowing green. How do you get rid the glow from items?
3. Someone made a trit Production room using normal One directional glass windows. After Burning for a while it the glass breaks, said player is confused what went wrong claiming he saw others using normal glass windows successfully. What do you think went wrong?

Medical
4. A man is presented to medical husked. Borg who saved him says he died in a fusion fire. The doctor healed the body of burn/brute damage and applied 120u of synthflesh. To his surprise it did not unhusk and mhelps. What do you think happened?

Antag
5. A player mhelps and asks how to sacrifice, the body is dead on the Transmutation rune but its not working!
6. A mhelp comes in and asks how to get one of those red shards as cult

Waiting on more mentor input before accepting this.
Currently hours look decent, Iā€™d like a bit more variety other than just cargo, but thatā€™s fine to be a specialist, but cargo doesnā€™t really have any complex areas to it when compared with other departments.

Please Please Please put hours into science, engineering and Command. As your hours stand, you wouldnt be able to answer these department-specific mhelps.

We all(or maybe just me) hate when mentors dont respond or dont give even a token response to a help request due to not knowing or not caring to answer, I want to try to mitigate that.

Otherwise, you look good, though you should consider joining a role you havent put much time into before and asking the head or one of your comrades to teach you it, most would be willing to help.

Anyway, I will tie my score in with Catoā€™s questions, if you can answer them reasonably, Ill give you a positive score.

hhhh sorry yes hello Ive been dealing with things lately and havent had a lot of time to sit down and respond to questions. Itā€™s probably for the best I leave a mentor application for a bit to give me some time to get familiar with some of the other roles (Iā€™ve been sinking my teeth into xenobio lately, been fun).

eh, itā€™s been inactive for a month and made me acknowledge the holes in my knowledge more than anythin. Might apply again on future when I get more engie and sci hours

Dear God I realized how little I knew when I became mentor haha.

why are we playing this game of asking mentors shittons of niche questions before + or - 'ing them

they donā€™t have metagame problems and they have plenty of hours, obviously theyā€™re going to be able to answer some questions when asked.
