Roundstarted as assistant on lowpop. No engineers so i decided i will “assist” and went to engie to set up sm. when i was in the middle of this Millii joined as secoff and we began radio chatter about sm being a giant yellow lamp. I’ve decided I will go and annoy her since i haven’t got anything better to do. Millii asked me to do bounties, but I’ve decided to fool around and tried to explain to her that i needed her wings and appendix instead of taking it from punpun (which were a bounty). Some chaos and tomfoolery ensued, in the middle of that det(moth) walked into cargo and i decided to throw her into Millii to do “moth fusion”. After that i got arrested and put to brig. some other lower grade tomfoolery ensued trying to steal donuts (since i was hungry and ai wouldnt let me in) from brig using potted plants. I believe that’s all .
To summarize I did not hack open any doors besides engineering to set up sm and one door in cargo room where I was bolted in by AI for some reason(tomfoolery again). I am sorry if i overdid being annoying part but I did put myself in the role of a “stupid assistant” which is acceptable in my belief since its at the bottom of job hierarchy. I was actively interacting with secoff including lots of talkin. If any rules were broken it was R7 which im again sorry for.
I was the detective and I will say I thought you were a shitter trying to get chased around by sec based off our first interaction but other than that I didn’t feel you fucked with my round much aside from seeing you outside brig in a plant pot.

Well, I was mostly interacting with Millii so it would look that way. We could’ve have some more opportunities. Assistant role is still a job im still tuning in for, since I’m not sure what im supposed to expect from myself.
There’s a whole clause on assistants under Rule 3 (Do your job) in the rules to try to outline that the job is not for just being a shitter like it often gets used as on certain other servers.
Stealing organs and intentionally creating problems for security as a non-antagonist is bad regardless of your job though.
A couple of other points from the rules:
You must roleplay. You’re a professional working for a major corporation. Act like you want to keep your job.
If you are not currently in an antagonist role, do not act like you are an antagonist. As a crew member on the space station, you are allied with Nanotrasen and the station as a whole from the start of the round.
I did not steal any organs, i wanted to talk secoff into giving their own organs(since monkeys dont have wings).
About intentionally creating problems I did not go over everything that your classic clown would do
(no soap bricks/peels were harmed/used even).
It was shoe stealing, shoving (im not sure who started shoving first at this point) and one moth throw.
Being a straight shitter that you are trying to describe would be more agressive such us denying access, deepfrying equipment and so on.
as for the points from rules: as assistant I am at the bottom of the chain, so its only logical that I have the least amount of loyalty of all, so minor crimes could be excused ooc to some degree. Im not saying you are allowed to go full self antag, but one or two minor crimes should be fine and would add to the shift. Sec would benefit from this by actually keeping order on station, not just hunting for valids. its a derivative of this point in rule 1(except my roleplay might be shitty lmao):
I did other things on station that contributed to its wellbeing. It was not just running around stealing sec shoes.
Looks like you didn’t have bad intentions from what I’ve gathered.
Still, why did you shock doors in engi and cargo?
Why did you spam build tables in the hallways?

correction, i did not shock any doors, ive only pulsed test wires which made them powered down so i could enter. as for why i did this is because i had no access to engie to set up sm. The cargo part was done because i was bolted in by ai.
my answer is:
Cmon its moth to assistant dumb conversation. We are not supposed to be eloquent and knowledgable/intelligent. If I ask You if this is poor performance you would probably answer yes, but is it in place? I think yes.
There were also some silly “me” chats, they may add more context.
To list a few problems I encountered when dealing with this case:
Nowhere from your logs or from what I was told could I deduce that you wanted to setup the SM, all I had were logs implying that you were messing around or tiding.
Making dumb conversation or “not” being eloquent actually takes effort in RP. You still have to act with cause while communicating in a way that reflects your character’s intentions and personality. You can’t just say random words, building low effort sentences, and expect things to work out in RP, the players still need to read you.
That’s the issue that surfaced here, you didn’t put enough effort where it mattered, namely your character and the intentions.
I could maybe guess you wanted to try to be silly, but I couldn’t figure out if you were in character, or if you were just you, messing around with people with no IC reasons.
For instance: How come your character was “dumb” but still able to hack doors and setup the SM of all machines? You need to put more effort into your character gimmick if you want others to understand you.

I’ll lift this cause there weren’t any bad intentions or major misunderstanding of the rules.
Just know that your round was below standards for RP. Playing the “fool” or madness takes effort, which is why I do not recommend it, it can easily be mistaken for shittery.
