Hello Lads, time to get feed back for my current main, the non humble bug, Sting Buzzing. Harsh insect with sometimes too short of the temper, that still seeks fair judgment for anyone he will come across.
This thread will influence if I will start building more concrete lore for Sting or will do a new rotation of characters. If you are too lazy to write a post, just post a picture of sad of happy cat and I’ll get it.
I can’t appropriately comment on your character but I must say it irks me that given enough time in the round has passed for you to make it to the bar you will always be carrying 100u of Arnold Palmer, or 100u of Bee’s Knees, or both. Not that there’s anything inherently wrong with it but you just do it THAT often.
There are many players who try to keep up with beestation, but are not actively playing on the server, hence the big view count. Me personally, I have not seen or interacted with you or your character, so I can’t say nothing about it, but I’m always interested in hearing about new players.
I always try to make use of the cook. But a big majority of them are cooking something with meat and offer me tofu as alternative. I do munch on everything vegetarian they make, but most of the time it is either junk food or Arnold Palmer, so it just became a habit I guess. Thank you for the feedback though! I probably shouldn’t carry bees knees by the bottle, since it is my most favorite drink (it tastes amazing to apids) I should probably buy the metal flask, that will make it more immersing.
UPD: and yes, often, cook it just strait up absent.
Sting Buzzing, a classic Security main that is always a joy for me to run into during a round, especially when I’m playing Command and regardless of whether my character is Niltryx or not. Security is a hard job, and an even harder job to do right, so I always enjoy seeing officers that manage to balance the mechanical demand with the social and RP flavors of the role that really make it special, and as far as I can remember, Sting has done this with little issue.
However, and this may be because I haven’t played a round with him in a while, but I’m having trouble remembering anything particularly distinct about Sting’s personality or behaviors. Yes, the job is why a character is on the station, but the things they do outside of it on their own accord is what truly defines them, and also makes for memorable events with others. Feel free to jog my memory, but otherwise, remember that a good worker is one who knows their profession well, while a good character is one who knows their place within the station’s many systems and environments well, and a great character is one who can help others find where they’re meant to be, too.
So, now after quite some time I think it’s time to bump this, since, I played buzzing a lot more and I think I stayed true to the character even adding to it. For example, it is pretty easy to earn Sting’s respect with just a few unnamed letters with a little bit of “contributions” as a donation to security department. (starting from 500-1k credits as a minimum)
The last two memorable rounds for me is Nations round and the Big Revolt with deathsquad for me.
I’ll be speaking from security teammate side, as we either meet up as security officers or I am in Command. When teaming up, I always know I can trust you to stand up and be a good security officer. As a Captain/Hos I always feel much confident in our security when having you.
I still haven’t figured out exactly what loyalties does Sting have and if he is truly corruptible, as when I tried to push for Securistan, you betrayed your security colors
Regardless, I always enjoy having you in security and am looking forward to see what new things you will try out, perhaps we will see Sting lead Security some day?
