How bout IPCs get brain damage in radiation, like code gets corrupted and shit, also exo fab IPC section could get some, you know, IPC stuff (for example screen protection thingy, or even special “shells” IPC could connect to and change to it if he’s close enough (shit like better armor but slow movement, fancy stuff basically))

I’ve played few gang rounds during which it seemed like people were unaware that dominator has been placed, just hour ago there was a round during which one me and one guy came to deal with it, while multiple players who were either nonantags or in different gang passed location in which the machine was activated without coming in (even when it was public place like bar).
I believe problem lies in messages that pop up after gang activates it
Delta security level pops up after Network Alert and pretty much pushes first message from peoples chat. A lot may be happening on radio and in my previous round we literally had shuttle related message which is not visible on screen but appeared after guy said ‘calling’, which pushed network alert even further. Most people just showed another security level message and ignored it as you usually do.
It would be great if we could either remove alert rising after gang activates dominator or combine them in one message or at least change it so slightly so delta alert would appear first and then information about network breach-that would make it more visible for people

That was me who activated the dominator. It was my first time as gang boss, I’d sprayed half the public areas of the station in broad daylight, and activated the dominator in the middle of the bar because I had to go soon IRL, and wanted to go out with a blaze of glory. I fully expected to be curbstomped, because none of my initiates obeyed my repeated summons, but only two people bothered to attack me. I gunned down the first and welded the doors with his welder, then the second unwelded them, tased me, robusted me, and then proceeded to strip my body naked while the countdown reached zero. Accidental greentext.
Bragging aside, yes, the network update, containing the round type, gang name and location, is pretty small compared to the delta alert. Maybe have the delta alert heading, with the gang name and location highlighted in big red type, so everyone knows where the valids are at. It would hardly fix gang’s other problems, like people ignoring conversions to keep doing whatever, but it’ll make it slightly less anticlimatic.

Add some way to seal people’s mouth shut so they can’t talk or only whisper. Maybe with duct tape, traitor superglue or surgery
Anything other than tape would take some time to set up, giving the victim a chance to scream over comms, but would be useful for those greytards, that just wont stop screaming in their sec cells or cuff someone, slap duct tape on their face and now you can easily abduct them
