I am low-key as social in-game as in real life. I handle most of the communciation through PDA messages. Do we have any miners? Search the PDA. Need anything from a engineer? PDA them. Offering people stuff? PDA them.

Might already be a thing, but if it isn’t then I think it’d be cool for every virus to have a very small chance of you being naturally immune to it. Good or bad.
Same thing with simpler chemicals perhaps?
So perhaps Bicaridine go directly out of your system with zero effects. And this would only happen to you and no one else.
This would encourage varied healing chemicals.
Disable the ability to buy emag unless there are two or more people in Security and or Command. Why emag if you can just hack your way through the normal way. Who is gonna stop you? The janitor? If you’re breaking into his room maybe, but otherwise no one. Not to mention, you’ll be the only one armed unless you already posed a threat to the Securityless crew.
PDA messages are great, also yeah the PDA messanger is a sort of Discount crew manifest, hell I used to call it that IC pretty often.

Which is why crew manifest was made a default app.
And you can also see any active AIs!

It also makes sense for the manifest to not show borgos and AIs.
Split the universal recorder transcripts to be even shorter so they don’t lag. Doesn’t matter if I got to have 30 pages, just anything to make it more smooth. I beg you.
I think this is more of a new paper issue than a transcripts issue

Maybe emag would be better since hacking is too easy for such a powerful thing
Remove emag hacking, but keep emag abilities. So emag enables you to get more or easier access to additional options, but you still need to go through some kind of process of hacking. Though this may be simple and risk free.
Make the upgraded stasis bed slowly stabilize the person on it.
It’d be complex but what if you could have it automatically inject a small dose of a specific chemical? Like a sleeper but it works automatically, always 10u and only one holder. You could have it apply sterilizer, honey or even things like Oxandrocyclic (oxandrolone + salicyclic acid) automatically on the person. Could somwhat get self treatment then if you make it outside medbay. Could also be used to harmfully inject people with lethal drugs. Put in some lexorin-sulfonal and knock 'em out on the stasis! Or put in morphine and use it for actual surgery!

Stasis beds are already too good, why do you want to buff them? They trivialize our already simple medical system.
Besides, your suggestion goes against it’s current function - which is completelly stopping all processes of the patient
Perhaps something added nearby to automatically apply a chemical in its placed tile? Like a small shower. That would be cool. And for sterilizer it wouldn’t matter that reagents aren’t processed as it will still do its job.
Again, I see no reason to buff the statis bed

I guess, but it isn’t static and will always be moved around, taken by someone else and so on.
