Maybe add a handheld map to help new players get used to maps.
I recall having a lot of trouble figuring out where everything is on station when i first started SS13 (still getting lost sometimes on Pubby since it’s not a map i frequently play), and the only thing close to an ingame map we’ve got is the small wall decoration thing that shows a rough outline of departments, but it’s tiny and not that helpful.
I’m thinking something that shows a png/jpeg of a simplified (no maint, most side rooms omitted) map of the current station on use could be placed in arrivals on most maps to help with that
Here’s an idea: why not a common sort of ‘discount mutibelt’ that you can buy from clothing vendors? It would be good for gimicks/lawyers/cargotechs etc. that don’t get departmental belts and either cant easily access toolbelts or don’t use tools (also we tend to sell out at the vendor, depending on how far into the round it is).
I figure that a good way to make it not OP would be to only give it 2 or 3 slots, kinda like wearing a second jacket. maybe replace a few of the maint toolbelts with them to make toolbelts rarer and more interesting/valuable.
So basically a fannypack from the clothes vendor?

There’s a basic belt item in the code that can have any small item put into it and is like tool belt sized

I was playing on a hippie sandbox server and then saw the Armstrong Style Scroll which made me giddy, im a sucker for LISA references and i personally loved the execution. Is there any way that you could port it as a syndicate item? (it was already a syndicate item on hippe so)

Not sure but there’s an active PR to port the one from NSV so, bringing back the old one is probably redundant.

you can inject more gases, some for fuel oters for cooling, the reactor can meltdown and explode or blowout which makes a rad event
if there is less then 2 miners science spawns with 3 blue space miners so they can actually do stuff
