absolutely, it is near impossible to be a functioning dark person at the moment. it would be cool and would make sense.
Vantablack is a real thing, and it causes heat to rise rapidly. Maybe give shadow people a suit that slowly heats up so they can only wear it for a short time so they can’t just ignore their whole purpose (hiding in the dark)
the whole purpose makes them almost useless. Why not make plasmamen overheat then? they have plenty of buffs like a welding mask, constant internals, rad immunity, and if they have a firesuit space immunity
It’s just a halloween race that’ll get removed from roundstart races after this, don’t see a point in trying to add it.

Shadow people need someway to survive in the light even if it imposes some kind of limitation like speed loss or even the inability to use a backpack (though it would have to be small enough to put in a backpack to make sure it evens out for when you are in the dark).

from what i remember shadow people can move freely in darkness

edit; if they can move in darkness like i remember then you get free phase shift and also light no longer damages you which says fuck the balance out loud.
Vampires for example can be a bat, 2 health points bat that is.

That’s for him to elaborate, but no, the only boon of shadowpeople is healing in complete darkness. Consoles let off enough light to kill you.
no, you are normal but you heal in the dark and die in the light. Darkness sucks as is.
