Should both servers have its own github repo?

Correct.

Body is clear, shut the fuck up forums.

¯_(ツ)_/¯

What does this comment actually mean? What did jackshit? What about me thinking “Don’t be condescending and mock people” is a bad thought and that getting rid of it makes me more proactive?

This comment just seems like a copy paste to confuse the one who’s reading it and make yourself seem smarter by saying that you’ve somehow grown as a person by getting rid of the mindset I have now.

What i meant by it that constantly yelling at coders what to add to the game didn’t get me anywhere with adding said stuff.

I agree that yelling at coders to add shit without any sympathy is a bad thing, but where did I ever yell at coders to add shit? I can only think of one time me being a bit pushy with a suggestion is that after a few weeks someone bumped it and I typed in “I hope a coder sees this”.

Then be the change you want. I applied to become an admin because nobody could be bothered to do reports. I don’t do them constantly but I do, in fact, do them.

That’s exactly what i did, i became the change i want to see.

Did you just flag my post?

No?

Who the fuck came in here, added nothing to the discussion and just flagged my post?

because the stuff i wanted to add i already pull requested and is currently awaiting merging/closing

Like I’ve said here the other day, I agree that there are major issues with trying to have one codebase for two very different standards of roleplay.

Players of each server have irreconcilable differences in their motivations for choosing their server.

Add to this hostility between members of each servers and grudge PRs being made solely to affect people of the other server and you have a situation where having separate repos actually has some merit.

First off: Criticism on the current state of the code, Suggestions for stuff people might find neat, highlighting balance issues, and giving opinions isn’t “Yelling at coders”. Not everything related to “Maybe something should coded” is an urgent requested yelled directly at the coders. You’re under no obligation to code anything you do not want to code but that is not a reason to get pissy everytime someone thinks some change should happen to the code.

Secondly: If you can’t handle the heat, get the fuck out of the kitchen. People will criticize PRs they don’t like, and if an overwhelming majority of them don’t, then there’s an issue with it. If you’re unwilling to find flaws in them, and even worse, get pissed off when people have issues with them, then you’re not gonna have fun coding and frankly should just stop for everyone’s sake.

Finally: You say this “DO EET YOORSELF” shit in the SUGGESTION threads too. If people suggesting stuff to be coded upsets you, don’t go around in the category that is specifically meant for that???

Oh i can handle the heat, but i don’t care what people say when it isn’t actual criticism i just get amused by them.

I sure as hell haven’t seen you respond to any form of criticism period with anything but a fat “then do it yourself aeiou”, valid or otherwise, so you’ll forgive me if i feel like you just can’t handle recieving it.

Of course.

Belone you don’t even know how to code you literally just copy and paste

that’s already more than 90% of the beestation community can do

Go learn how to code instead of bitching
