Breaking and Entering/Trespassing and Escalation
If a crewmember trespasses into your workplace/office, you may escalate it in the following order:
- Tell them to leave.
- If they refuse, contact Security.
- If Security is not coming, try to non-lethally remove them (shoving, cuffing, stunning, disabling, flashing, Chef’s CQC, bartender’s shotgun with beanbags, pepperspraying).
- IF 3 fails, you may crit them and get them to medbay and make sure that they get healed.
- IF they go completely hostile (Attacking first and non-stop), they use a weapon or come back to your workplace for a 3rd time (or with a weapon such as a baseball bat), you may validly kill them.
considering there was no security and you where actively throwing flashbangs and shoving me, I jumped to 3 and tried to deter you from coming back, and gave you the equivilant of a tracking implant in case you tried it a third time.
since those where two seperate incidents you coming back a third time to flash me lets me kill you, which I didnt, i left you in crit in medbay.

the logs will show the flashbang hit me, cause it did and caused me to go deaf for a short while. Pretty annoying when it was near round start and I was trying to get everything in medbay sorted out.

it wasnt the shove once, it was the shove as i was treating someone who was about to crit
was worried he was just gonna kill the dude/continue to prevent me from healing him, I shot him so he’d goto sleep while I actually healed the dying guy
I was also worried he’d actually caused the dying guys injuries, I considered he could have been the attacker following them to medbay to finish the kill considering the flashbang earlier and the shove preventing me from healing them.

I never claimed SS13 as a whole is kid friendly there are 18+ servers, and if I recall right even require you to verify your age for some. But this isn’t a 18+ server and has always had in the rules that this place is minor friendly. If you don’t like that you can always move to one of the 18+ servers.
