Ban Reason: Abuased power to brainwash a person with an objective prohibiting contact with felinids as a non-antagonist; targeted against two big felinid players and overall the last straw in a novel of shitty behaviour as both command and security. Appeal on the forums if you feel like this is unjust. Authorised by Llol and Francium.
Appeal Reason: There are a lot of icky feelings surrounding this incident that have kept me from appealing it sooner that are not really worth going into at this time. That said, it has been about a month and a half now and I miss my detective’s fedora. Rather than asking that it be lifted altogether, I think it would be reasonable to reduce this to a captain/hos ban now, maybe HOP as well, and allow me to play sec/other heads. I have always taken care to avoid “headcurity” when in non-sec command roles and am pretty good in general at staying out of trouble when I pick such roles. As for security, I’ll concede that I have a tendency to go overboard, which is a major factor behind this ban, so I will make an effort to rein that behavior in.
Regarding this incident in particular, I was not attempting to “ruin other players’ rounds.” Obviously though, I did, and I am sorry for that. I wouldn’t have done it if I knew how badly certain players involved would take it. At the same time, I don’t think it was that unreasonable for me to have expected the people playing SS13 to have a little bit thicker skin that they would just roll their eyes at such shenanigans. Nonetheless, I’ll b good

I’d be more inclined to do the reverse - you cause the most issues with other players when you’re security, not when you’re a general head.
This undermines the entire appeal as a “sorry but not actually sorry” sort of thing. I was neutral on the appeal until I got to this point and there isn’t much that makes an apology for being massive dick sound more disingenuous than saying “You should have thicker skin”
This ban is not the result of a single incident, but your general and ongoing issues with being powertrippy shitsec that likes to bully people just because you can. You’re right up there with the worst of the worst detectives too - playing just so you have an excuse to lethal people because it’s your only option.
You also pretty much stopped playing when this ban was issued so it’s somewhat difficult to tell if the behavior had actually improved. What you have played so far is looking fairly good though, if we ignore the metagrudge-threats
I’m gonna frame this and put it on my wall. This is some magnificent garbage. If it seems like I’m being disingenuous, it’s probably because after all this time I can’t shake the feeling there is a significant “I just dont likea dis guy” behind this ban, and this right here doesn’t do much to make me feel differently. Here is what the headmin sees when he looks at me, thus the ban stays. How could I not be cynical in the face of this? You could have stopped after powertripping shitsec and I’d have nothing to do but smh my damn head at myself but after that you just about disappeared into imaginationland.

As others stated, the appeal seemed fine untill i got to this part.
I won’t go any further into talking about sorry not sorry approach, but i have actual question.
If you didn’t try to destroy someone’s fun there then what was the reason behind it ?
You knew i spent whole round there talking with a prisoner, having some actual and meaningfull roleplay. But yet you went out of your way (i was a brig physician and it was my job to perform a surgery on prisoners) to get sure that i won’t get to talk to them any more this round. Despite all my effords into befriending him.
The only reasons I can find myself is either:
metagrudge on me or Zane
destroying someone’s fun for your own entertainment
Both of the reasons are not any good.
Believe me or not, this game is not all about being an asshole to each other and no, thicker skin won’t do.
We are a staff members, and therefore we are required to maintain professionality, we do not just do “I just dont likea dis guy, ban stays”
And I believe we given you enough reasons to show you why the ban was put there to begin with and why it should stay.
