Though he had a thread on Discord it’s more of a silly one. I decided to make a legitimate thread if anyone has any longer feedback to give (or just small silly notes please leave them too!)
For those who haven’t met him, Navigates-The-Nothing is a stupid, easily flustered, easily scared, binge-drinking Doctor. Very defensive of his workplace but usually unable to do anything about it. Lover of the appendix burger. Even bigger lover of cute lizards like Tends-The-Gardens.
Very cute lizard, I had a lot of fun working with you, and you’ve gone an incredibly long way in terms of both RP and mechanical skills since the time I first met you! I have not been able to play recently so I can’t tell if you’ve already began working on it, but I’d love to see you in command/antag roles as I truly believe you’ve got what it takes to make things interesting and that you’re playing in good faith.
Besides that, he’s very fun to play with, loves eating screwdrivers, and is competent in medbay. He’s a great coworker aand I should probably try to play medbay more when he’s a doctor. Might pull his tail someday.
As far as command goes, I’d be willing to play CMO if rounds regularly had captains. As it stands now I don’t wanna do that because I’d rather not play than be acting cap.
I am warming up to the idea of playing antag roles, though I think I lack what it takes to be a very compelling antagonist. I know the solution to that is to practise but I am always scared I’d ruin a round by either having no presence, or going way too hard with my evil.
Okay because I have started to play a second character more frequently, I thought I’d hijack Navigates thread to add him in.
For those who haven’t met him yet, Sees-The-Light is my eternally optimistic, eager to please, eager to wield a gun cargo technician. Has never made a mistake in his career. can identify the smell of an envelope from 50 miles away, and would never let strangers order contraband using his supply console. Oh, and he has no eyes but that’s a minor detail.
I’ve played him in a few rounds now and I want to make sure the bit remains entertaining and doesn’t wear thin. I also really hope anyone has any stray screenshots of him because hopefully you understand why I don’t really take them.
I remember having an extended interaction with Sees as a particular HoP character of mine during a round, and the amount of personality you give him is genuinely fun to interact with. When I first found out he was played by you, I was pleasantly unsurprised. Sees has a very classic trope-like personality you’d expect from a character you mainly see in Cargo, and him being a mailman suits him very very well. Good character!
I’ve met both of the lizards in game, and they are very fun to interact with!
I usually try to encourage Navigates to be more outgoing and to have confidence in himself.
Your characters have been fun and engaging to interact with whenever I’ve encountered them in game, and for reasons I’ll never fathom you have been kind and welcoming whenever we interacted outside the game. No complaints over than being a filthy lizard main. I hope one day you will answer for your various crimes against the station, but besides that you have been great.
Also add grampy lizard to the thread I love him please.
