Incident Description:

Midijamz handeled my ticket and my situation in the worst way I think I’ve ever seen an admin do. It was actually a travesty.

  • Sent me to admin prison on LRP in the middle of medical while I was trying to heal instead of just admin PMing like everyone else.
  • Obviously has very little experince with LRP rules, should stay on MRP
  • Metagamed and told me who wasn’t an antag in the ticket
  • Obvious “respect mah authoritah” attidude by saying “sorry bud, looks like you’re gonna have to take a break for a little bit!” before even hearing me explain myself, “don’t mistake my kindness for weakness…” when I attempted to be thankful, and generally acting like an entitled ass the whole report
  • Doesn’t even know what the beestation website is (said it was beestation13.org when it literally isn’t)
  • Doens’t want to do his job, says “you shouldn’t need a novel to say why it was okay to kill someone” and thought that was reason enough for a note, because he’s too lazy to read someone trying to be thorough.

Of course, I admit intervening in a fight is a grey area, but how he handled this regardless of what I did, it’s clear that he does not mix with the LRP community and should either spend more time learning how LRP players function on a game-to-game basis or just stay in MRP where he can actually properly do his job, which after this experince I’m doubting he can even do that.

Taking a look at his staff feedback thread

"I got nothing but good things to say about Midijamz, and especially now that they’re an admin working their hardest to help out MRP.

Always promoting an rp style that fits MRP, and killing it with knocking out tickets and answering reports . . . Good a real nice attitude and friendly to deal with which is always a plus when it comes to admins"

I did not see the midijamz with a real nice attitude or being even slightly decent at answering tickets considering he was so bothered at my “novel” of a response that he noted me for it. I can’t even go on any longer about how bad he is because my bucket list should do the job.

Cant look into this if theres no round ID, without a round ID theres no way to confirm if this is true and itl likely get closed.

If you didn’t have proper LRP validity, you are not allowed to kill someone. Seeing a person being dragged or non-lethally harmed does not give you the right to kill either of them, neither does hearsay. LRP Validity List is a general list of things that make people valid. In this situation, you should call sec, or try to drag the person away before going sicko mode. The point of this being said you broke a rule and a note was warranted.

Now to go through your reports/claims.

Admin’s have the right to admin prison anyone if they suspect rule breaks to make sure that a situation can be discussed and further issues don’t happen. Midi was talking to all 3 people involved at the same time as talking to you, which makes sense that jailing you would give space to deal with the issue. Also you were admin healed once teleported back to station, so the inferred claim of them interrupting your medical treatment is lame. You were only removed from the round for 2 minutes.

They were correct in their assessment of you being the first to use lethals without validity. Just because they main MRP, does not mean they are in any way lesser admins on LRP. In fact you and other LRP players should want more MRP admins playing on LRP.

Admins can reveal round secrets at their discretion if it helps satisfy issues in a ticket. It is then on the player to not use that information to their advantage. You were claiming the person was an antag, and they were try to show you that there was no chance to prove you were in the wrong.

Reread the ticket, and maybe you’ll have a better context for things. Saying that “he was attacking the chaplain so i saved him” implies that harm was being used which would have justified you stepping in. Then when they checked the logs it seems like you were lying. Them saying you need to take a break is just a way to say they will be banning, not some weird flex. Its just how they talk.

In general I can see where you would get heated, but they never insulted you or belittled you. They just acted like someone trying to enforce rules when you broke them.

This is disingenuous since they immediately corrected themselves.

As said at the start, you broke over-escalation rule and that warranted a note at a minimum.

Going to leave open for other heads to look over and a response from you or @midijamz. I don’t see any clear admin conduct breaks though.

I echo the sentiment left above and have nothing else to really say - part of the admin conduct broken list isn’t even that genuine since, well, nothing was actually broken.

Also, please include the round number in future reports so that it is easier for us to actually find out when it occurred.

The length of your explanation wasn’t why you got a note. You overescalated and critted two people. I was watching the chat logs of people calling you out for selfantagging multiple times. Other admins would have been more harsh - this fact is indisputable. Regardless, while I disagree with near everything you wrote, I appreciate the feedback and I understand why some of the things I said may have come off as haughty.
