Ban Reason: Went to library to RDM someone at roundstart for seemingly no reason, then DC’d after they were killed. Explain on forums.

Appeal Reason: Came home after a long day, played a bit of ss13. Was HoP, got into a fight with some guy, he tried to stun me and I ended up lethal egunning him putting him in crit and left him in sec. I guess it’s overescalation?

It said some shit about nuke-ops before(got edited out?) Not gonna lie, came from drinking with colleagues was in a call with some one and logged off because I couldn’t focus on both, no war ops declared at that point.

Maybe some one has logs to determine if I was actually a dickhead and just ‘RDMed’ a dude roundstart or not, foggy memory about this round 2 weeks ago or so

So, a tl;dr

  • Ya spawn as HOP and fuck around with people flashing and using the baton to stun them. Nothing constant.
  • Ya move to library and fuck around with some people, most notably Good Boy, Clown and the player that ahelped, Ramon Falzon.
  • At some point, ya use your energy gun on lethal, hitting said guy once with a lethal laser.

At this point, he’s about to enter hard crit, and you ended up taking him to brig, where he bled out to death since you didn’t provide him medical care.

Ya DC’d then came back at one moment, around 10-15 secs before the ban.
And Zanos, either knowingly or not, banned you instead of checking if you came back or not.

TL;DR

  • Situation escalated correctly, not RDM really (Since you didn’t outright target him from the start. Ironically treated everyone equally in the same stun/shove way.
  • Guy decided to follow and allow the conflict to escalate.
  • Situation escalated on Cargo.
  • Your one fuck up was leaving him on brig without actually making sure he gets healed. Otherwise it’d have been fine, you’d have been valid to each other.
  • F to Zanos for not realizing you had came back.

Spoke with Xlyana about this, and decided that 4 days banned is already a lot.
Plus this ain’t worthy of a perma.

But for fuck’s sake make sure people get healed.
