This might be a bit of a silly suggestion, but what if we had a button (on a cooldown of course) that could give you the blank, unresponsive stare of an SSD person for when you need to go AFK. Sometimes, I need to leave for a short period of time (someone’s at the door, etc.) and I have two choices: stand still and hope no one tries to talk or interact with me, or close the game and reopen it when I’m back (which pauses the chat history so I’m not aware of anything that has happened and also adds another 30 seconds to my rejoin timer). The only problem I could think of is antagonists abusing it during arrests to appear SSD.

There is already, it is a big red button with an X on it at the top right corner

You shouldnt be aware of what happened while you’re SSD, it stands for space sleep disorder - you fell asleep with your eyes open.
Theres nothing quite like breaking in and finding someone SSD, deciding you don’t want to gank them and then having them call out your crimes 10 minutes later like they just witnessed them.
I second the first response and I did read the whole thing. I also have to put up with the 30 second join timer when someone is griefing the server.

I didn’t think of that– but at least it’d be reportable
Maybe it could pause visuals + chat log, and unpause whenever you come back. That way you can bypass the 30 second delay
