Yeah I get that, but at the same time he wasn’t passing out bans while IG and if the players are breaking the rules with bannable actions to mess with him I’m not sympathetic. It’s like being upset over someone pissing into a swimming pool of piss.

That’s not quite true. It forces you to deadmin but doesn’t force you to stay de-adminned. Readminning while playing is against policy, but not forced.
I don’t appreciate the thought that they were demoted for no reason, nor the fact that they have spread this belief themselves so here I am to state at least the things I witnessed that are contrary to this.

Latejoined as captain, immediately readminned and checked antagonists. Remained re-adminned and aghosted several times with no tickets or admin alerts. This is not only against the new policy, but the old one as well.

Gave themselves voice of god during an IC conflict on shuttle and used it to stop the conflict

Readminned to aggressively go after a player they thought had wronged them while they were playing via bwoink - someone I had already handled as the observing admin online at the time, and had told them I handled.

Tried to metafriend AA to his buddy while captain, interfering with the bwoink when I try telling the buddy that they can’t roundstart attack and strip captain for AA. (This is the round that caused @TottalyNotC to quit)
Needless to say I disagree with your assessment entirely. I don’t know how it was handled by the higher ups because I passed it off and never heard anything back or saw a strike posted (usually there’s quite a bit of lenience in trial since people are learning), but I know after these were reported that they completely stopped getting on.
They also called me a snitch, which is a great sign of a responsible and professional admin.

My reason for using it was to stop the constant people asking for AA and shoves, Even when i did that i sat for ages in bridge without any roleplay or interactions. I won’t say that my voted demotion was 100% invalid since there was a situation or two i could’ve handled better but happened.
Bloons you can write your 5000 paragraph essay here on my demotion reasons, I don’t mind as long you don’t make me seem like a borderline abusing admin.
This is not true, completely false. I didn’t have intentions to lose the AA card and me giving my all for it and losing to what i believe which was bolas. Some of those situations i can argue in my defense.
I too kinda just want the fun chaos that was last winter LRP. It was a tough playground where I was able to come into the game and was able to learn of the based realm of SS13. Like I killed 4 dudes just for shoving and after admitting that was fucking clapped I was forgiven and given a lesser ban. Im absolutely certain any other station would’ve banished me permanently. And I have come to care more about this community both due to some of the fellows I encounter here. And because the stations here feel the most fucking crisp. Like they feel so much cleaner than any other station i’ve gone on.

Don’t think i said “I got demoted for no reason”, i know that i used some of my powers in situations that shouldn’t be used but i had my reasons. LRP while i was a admin barely peaked 25 people. You can’t deny the fact i was a good admin to a extent aswell 
He did doe, i was human and putting electrical doors along with getting grudged, I asked in admin chat to handle it. This was a wrong choice and very impuslive of me.

Actually, I never reported you for playing with your own antag rep, that was before your actions were excessive enough for me to report. I just talked to you myself about that and about not using admin powers on yourself for your own gains pretty much ever.
I was still worried the general perception of you was too poor for you to get a fair chance if I brought anything like that up.
This is a chart of your server activity from early November (when you got admin) until now. I reported the incidents on November 29th (I think?), which is conicidentally the same day most of them occurred.
All other cases before that point I simply talked with you and advised you what to do.
You did try to act like MRP admins were the only reason you were demoted and feigned ignorance in discord, asking why you were demoted in General.
As for the rest of it, I don’t really want to turn this into a roasting thread against you. I reached out on your application to say you were trustworthy, I have no mal-intent by sharing what you did wrong but I also don’t want people thinking if you as some sort of champion admin when you misused your powers on a large scale.

The other day a player with:
- Hundreds of hours on the server
- 5 prior bans for self-antag removing/killing players the past 180 days
- A history of not caring and repeating said behavior when off of these bans
Tried to start a plasma fire as a non-antag for someone throwing him out of a department he was trespassing in. He was banned for two(2) days.
Without naming names, there is another similar player with thirty(30) bans in the last 12 months with the plurality of them being self-antag. It’s hard to keep track of all the ban lengths without an excel spreadsheet, but it seems like the longest one was for a week.
Forget Sasukex, the amount of time wasted discussing his case here and in private is pretty shocking given that the minimal effort to remove people that actually enjoy ruining the community for others. It’s like bringing someone into emergency surgery for a rhinoplasty that just came in with a severed arm. I mean, good catch?

30 / 12 = 2.5 Bans-Per-Month
30 days / 2.5 = 12 days-average-between-bans
For one player
For the past twelve months
And there are similar players with ranges from 14-24 days
These people are active, right now, with no change in behavior

people really talking about how lrp is dead but its regularly at 30 pop, which is enough for fun rounds.
the only issue can be the free for all that it can and is when there are no admins on it for hours
thus the simplest solution is to hire more LRP admins; which is the hard part because most LRP players have long note lists

There have been plenty of good applicants who get turned away for what seems like simply having an lrp mindset. Honestly I’m just happy golden hasn’t been deleted entirely yet, anarchy seems like the best that’s going to be allowed to happen

LRP more like no-RP. Can’t say I’m looking forward to a permanent LRP admin nor any more rules since the ones on the books are not enforced (mostly due to no admins ever being online).
Couple problems that need to be addressed:
- LRP is more fun most of the time when there AREN’T admins on. What does that say about the bee staff?
- Why is the cultures and playstyle on both severs so similar to each other that players get confused about which server they joined? the RP aspect of MRP is so far gone that when people get redirected to LRP they don’t realize until someone points it out.
- Why is LRP considered the new player friendly server? It’s a zero-RP server where no one is inclined to be friendly or helpful besides the one or two mentors that are regularly on and new players don’t know how to Mhelp to reach us either. At one point, the server culture was so unfriendly that they beat and robbed new players just for announcing they were newbs, or if they were from MRP. I’ve even had instances where my fellow mentors refused to answer a questions asked in Mhelp and decided to make a meme response to a legitimate question.
If you want more players on LRP, you’re going to have to do more than just a few rules changes. You’re going to have to find a way to change the very culture of beestation and make LRP fun like I did BEFORE I GOT DEMOTED FROM TRIALMIN FOR DOING EXACTLY THAT!
Perhaps take the NSV route and promote some Game Masters to do events for LRP and handle prayers?

This is not true, I immediately notice that instead of just gaming talk from my coworkers, I also get to read gaming talk overlapping it in OOC.
The question is as to whether or not Golden meets its intended goals as it was established, which it has been found not to, and what changes may be made to serve its purpose. Fun isn’t constructive to discuss because it is entirely subjective and varies among audiences. Any discussion about what’s fun will get many different opinions and doesn’t produce anything meaningful.
This is true and an example of the clueless neglect the server receives.

BEESTATION is a new player friendly server. This includes both LRP and MRP - LRP is easier to pick up because you don’t have to worry about breaking RP while you are trying to ask how to do things, especially if you need to ask what to click.
Now I’m just fucking confused.
- You acknowledge the state the server was in,
- validate the purge of all these players you miss
- validate purging the mentors that never wanted to help people in the first place.
- LRP is growing again and regaining its reputation

See above. Purging the toxic players who find enjoyment in ruining someone else’s enjoyment is a pretty good step toward changing the culture of Golden into a more inclusive one.
I sure enjoy an admin that ignores my ticket to go on station as a lethal shitspawn that can kill me in one hit. That sounds like an improvement over no admins.

Last time a vote like this occured, there wasn’t a single LRP MAIN that voted. This is completely pointless and frankly disappointing that MRP people vote on LRP decisions.

Some people such as myself are or were LRP mains that have to visit/moved to MRP because of how unplayable Golden gets.
Nobody is preventing LRP mains from participating in the community and if they see fit to abstain from contributing anything to the conversation, it’s a waste of time to read their minds.
