Wait a minute, are Mechs tied to or derived from the code of Borgos?
If so, are Borgs also a hot code spaghetti mess?
If Borgs are also a hot code spaghetti mess then is it less noticeable Because the ingame performance and gameplay of it isn’t as problematic and doesn’t need as much adjustment? if any at all?
If mechs are derived from Borg code, what about it would make the code so problematic to work with?
If mechs aren’t derived from Borg code, would tying them to it over the current code reduce the number of issues by unifying the two in their code functions?

Mechs are their own object subtype. If you want, there’s a PR over on TG that you could port that refactors mechs to be vehicle subtypes and cleans up the code a bit (which I might port at some point if I ever get around to it)

It would make sense if that were the case, given what you’ve said.

Presumably. I’m taking a look at the TG mech improvements, and there’s a few that could be good to port over (although I don’t really like the TGUI implementation).

yeah Fulp has the TG UI and I find it’s not as simple to use, sure it’s MAXIMUM HOTKEY but Maximum Hotkey isn’t always a good thing
