Incident Description: They admin jailed me for spreading a disease when I clearly did not. Claim they knew it was me cause they cured everyone twice and I was sick. I had made a disease myself as assistant but it had totally different symptoms, he accused me of infecting myself and spreading a noncontagious disease that no one had cause I never used it. I kept it for self defense, a non contagious spontaneous combustuion to splash on an attacker. He took all my beakers away and still didnt cure me of the disease the virologist made after wasting time from my round. Gave me a note even though I wasn't the one who did it

It can be incredibly hard to determine who has spread diseases. I had been following you ever since someone reported a bad disease going around. Since there WAS also a viro in that round, i decided to Cure all diseases and see who spread diseases. I did this twice and both times the disease “just happend to flare up” in you right after i did this. It makes therfore perfect sense to remove you from the round, at least temporaily, so said disease could not be spread while my investiagtion and our conversation took place. I then did exactly what i said i’d do and deleted your inventory, returned you to the station, then gave you a note about the one thing that i can actually conclusively prvove and which you directly confessed to in the conversation – you having made a disease with spoantaneous combustion as a “self defence weapon” while being an assiant on a greenshift. The part about you having deliberatley spread said disease is not included what so ever, since i can indeed not prove such a thing.
The procedure itself, prisoning you and questiong you after i’d obesrved you getting sick right after admin cureing evryone, is completely logical. Making accusation is normal and rational in any investigation, and this only becomes problematic if punishment is actualy given out for crimes not commited - which didnt happen.
One (1) jailing and some acusations does not harrasment make.
Here’s one thing you have going for you though - you were more civil and reasonable/friendly in our conversation than most people would have been.
I’d like some staff input on this, though. For obvious reasons. @GameAdmin

This all seems reasonable to me. You had to narrow down suspects and if anything he’s lucky you didn’t hit him for the rule he actually did break. If anything it sounds like he should be thanking you.

Yeah, I’m surprised you didn’t get banned for having a spontaneous combustion disease.

I wanna note to people here I never used the beaker for self defense and the disease was not contagious. If I had used it in self defense it would be functionally no different then beating them but slower, curable with sugar and it could indicate to sec who they were. To those saying I should be banned, you are allowed to make things just not to hurt the other players and that never happened, if you ban everyone that makes something that could potentially be used to hurt people you should ban several departments every round

I think what happened is maybe the admins command didn’t apply to the monkeys? I made the disease to pass the time after I got locked in virology by sec, and broke through the monkey pen to escape.
You didn’t get noted for spreading the disease, you got noted for power gaming.
Making a disease on MRP as non-viro is already pretty much outside if normal gameplay for MRP, and claiming it was for self-defense confirms it was just power gaming. (Spread by blood or contact can still spread easily and if you infect other people in the name of ‘self defence’, their death is on your hands)

It doesn’t really matter with your job title you should never have possessed such or created such to begin with. You really should just apologize here and thank lol111 for letting you get off without punishment for what you actually did.
you cant make something like that on a greenshift when there is no real threat to the station and no direct threat at the time

What’s going on here? You noted platinumninja for powergaming and @leestriter seems to be in agreement with this. All proof and logs posted were directed at CKEY platinumninja. Lee is not platinumninja unless he’s multikeying or has a doppelgänger.
There’s a CKEY leestriter already active on the server.
That confusion aside, I don’t see anything report worthy here. I’m sorry you were wrongly accused of spreading a death plague, but as others say you shouldn’t even be powergaming in the first place on MRP. We make mistakes sometimes and you weren’t wrongfully banned, just yoinked out of the round for a bit as a result of reasonable deduction considering the server rules.
@llol111 has been informed of why the “cure all diseases” function doesn’t work as well as it should now too.

I did not know that there was a ckey leestriter active when this report first came in. In all honesty i did not even conciously read leestriters name, as the report came in mere minutes after platinumninja said they’d raise a report. So i’d assumed them to be the same person, naturaly. If there is also an active ckey leestriter the only explanaiton i can come up with for this report comming in from leestriter is that platinumninja is an alt of theirs.
Yeah I’ve said here on the forum before I have an alt.
