While antagonists are supposed to be the enemies of the station, above all you should seek to make the round more engaging and fun as the star of the show. Succeeding as an antagonist is not the “goal” of SS13, the goal is for all players to have fun.
You’re saying by yourself your main priority the entire round was to get your objective, which yes, you’re inclined to do but you should make a roleplay scenario out of it to entertain the others and make memorable fun
You waltzed into brig(which was also under incursion attack so it was a confusion) and started click security officers until they went horizontal, the only time you stepped out of your mecha was to repair it, you never spoke a word to us, threatened us, you never roleplayed you just WASD+Left click and of course since the mecha stuns/sleeps you from melee hits no one had a chance to fight back, in fact i remember the detective trying to talk and nope, wordlessly killed and so on with every other people.
Wanna know why the most memorable antagonists are memorable? Because they do stuff that are fun not only for themselves but for others and roleplay in the process, in here you didn’t do that, at best the only person that had “roleplay” with you was the Captain who was a random back and forth on the radio saying “gimme medal” “no!”
You wouldn’t have liked if an officer spotted you assembling you the illegal mecha, say ; ai open and then wordlessly baton, drag you and put you on a cell for 15 minutes, then finding your emag and the weapon compartment for the mecha without speaking zero words, alongside making sure you’re demoted, that would’ve be shitty right?
Wanna know why there’s antags that once they kill a seccie, if they have the upperhand, leave their sensors on or just throw their body on a locatable place? Because for them it’s fun to fight sec and it’s more fair that after doing some RP and combat you let them go back, you should’ve read the situation on that round, you saw brig being overrun by incursionists, did you ever stop and think? “Damn incursion and i fucked sec and command hmm maybe i should let this officer be revived so i can atleast fight again or they can kill the incursionist”(who they hated you and wanted to kill you by the end btw)
But nope, on brig when one of the incursionists was reviving me you started yelling NO, bashed me into +500 brute, destroyed the surgery table, the computer and all near by walls, same with the other two instances where you saw someone from sec being dragged or in medbay
You wordlessly walked into brig, then beat everyone to death and spent the round slowly walking through the halls saying " GIVE ME THE MEDAL" and… that’s it
It’s not about robusting sec, nor about getting your SIMPLE STEAL OBJECTIVE is about making a round memorable with an engaging roleplay and story that’s fun for you and others, please reevaluate and take a look at what others people do, because you just end up fueling more sec-antag issues.
Sec being “valid” does not justify what you did in this case for a mere steal objective, and you failed to read the situation that the station was going through(incursion took over, brig was desolate, no one to fight back, etc)
Congrats on killing sec, but no one cares and needs any of that.
