I don’t have the round number. It was the round right before 18:00, on echo station, lowpop.
Incident Description: On lowpop greenshift this roboticist had a security modsuit (at least to the end of the shift) and was walking around in a mining mech equipped with a plasma cutter (instead of giving it to mining). I’m unsure if he doing this early or only towards the end of the round.
In this round I was a weird person carrying an axd. I go into the main hall and tell the nearby crewmembers that I wanted to kill someone, and the only fair victim was the janitor. I chase the janitor and hit him twice before he escapes. After the janitor had already escaped Jaxson comes and chases me with a mining mech, shooting me with the mech’s plasma gun in an attempt to kill me, continuing even after I was already downed and unable resist, wich would have allowed him to arrest me or just cuff me.
In this round I was a changeling, but he had no way of knowing this prior to killing me the first time.
I revive and I look for him: he’s still on the mech. He continues inside the mech until i eventually destroy the mech and kill him.
I was in this round as Navigates-The-Nothing, and has minor involvement in the incident. Firstly, the round number was 53678.
I was one of the people that was spoken to by the axe-murderer, and my character had strong belief that they were going to kill someone, which lead myself and Tends-The-Gardens to hide a couple doors away in science. This meant, however, that my view of events was limited.
I knew that the janitor was the murder target, and believed that they were getting very very murdered from the little I saw, so I called out on radio that someone was being murdered outside xeno. It is possible that this made the situation seem more urgent than it was, as I was unaware the janitor escaped.
I did see Jaxson roll up and start blasting you. I also saw them in that mech a couple minutes prior but I don’t remember if they gave any reason for that. After this, I went to go check on the janitor (who was fine), and then on you and Jaxson, witnessing him continuously attacking you in crit. I did at this point plead with Jaxson to stop/wait multiple times as he kept shooting.
There doesn’t seem to be any reason in logs why Jaxson was roaming the station in a mining mech, nor why they had a security modsuit.
From what I can tell they rolled by as you where attacking the singular victim and jumped straight into combat without a word, with no attempt to arrest or cuff.
This alone counts as a rule break, theres no reason for a roboticist to be roaming the station in a mining mech, nor to have a security modsuit equipped.
Even if we ignore those facts, the blatant attempt to just outright kill you rather than arrest you is wack, especially as it seems they left you on the surface of echo to just rot away.
