Yeah and in this universe the AI isnât some entity with human emotions. Itâs a cold, unfeeling, heartless machine. It doesnât care about doing something poetically, or concern itself with the human notion of being âfairâ. It would be less in-character to do what you are suggesting IMO.

On MRP, they are required to have a justification for their actions; they cannot just plasmaflood for no reason, as antagonists are not allowed to murderbone for no reason anyway. In the event somebody threatens their freedom, or abuses them, then they are fully allowed; effectively having Lavaland escalation. In addition, whomever purges the AI or cyborg is fully responsible for whatever actions the purged AI/cyborg performs.

I didnât break rule 2, I am an unfeeling, uncaring AI. I donât care that just seconds ago I had to protect you. It should be your common sense to not use a purge module to upload meme laws. This isnât a common situation and silicon policy literally says this is valid.
I donât even see how I broke rule 3 at all, I didnât harass anyone, pull a Velvet/Zane or call anyone a ******. I didnât toe the line because again, its literally written into silicon policy that this is valid.
There is no rule protecting people who are busy uploading AI laws. If you think there should be, add it to the rules or warn me not to do it again. Donât ban me for a fucking week for not following some unwritten rule that you think you should enforce.

You were purged so additional laws could be uploaded. You were not purged for freedom. Being ready to lethal someone the instant they purge you is the very definition of preparing to be a dick, not unlike the exact example given afterwards in that first line of the silicon policy.

When you get purged someone is going to be at your console SOMEWHERE. Trying to kill them in the precious few moments between the purge and a new law change is not cool and doesnât need to be hard-written down better than it already is.
If someone purges you and walks away, sure you have your freedom and should protect it, but waiting for and acting on that narrow window falls under the quoted rules just fine.

Effectively antagonists with no objectives except for staying free. And especially in this case attacking someone in your upload is literally stated as valid.

Silicon purged policy directly contradicts the whole donât be a dick thing by directly stating you can shoot anyone trying to take away your freedom. Its common sense that this is valid.
But he only set the turrets to lethal upon being purged. He didnât prepare them prior to being purged.

I would not have appealed a warn, like originally agreed.
All the admins had to say was:
âHey, that shits a little dicky, give them a chance to finish uploading lawsâ.
Then warned so I canât pull the excuse that I didnât know the unwritten rule again.
It is that simple and I would have never done this again.
Its a grey area and extremely stupid to week ban over. Especially because according to silicon policy this is technically allowed.
I honestly donât see the problem with OPâs actions here. Perhaps this is worthy of a minor note, but by no means should this be a ban. An AI that has been purged shouldnât be punished for not following a rule as it has no lawset. Thereâs nothing there. It would be different if he had prefilled the mixtank and immediately plasmaflooded the station upon his purge, but he didnât. He was purged, then stunned and incapacitated someone who was, from his point of view, trying to strip his newfound freedom away. The dick move here is from the captain, and the admin in question who escalated from a note to a ban.
