Appeal Reason: Looking to get the Perma lifted. Was initially banned from Botany for throwing a harmful plant on LRP server, and thought I had served my time for that. Didn’t think it was a perma ban. When I logged in today, I thought that since my new VPN active that was why I wasn’t able to log into Byond at all. So created a new account and it worked.
I actually kept screengrabs of that ahelp because it was sorta funny. I’ll post them down below.
I also just want to get this straight: You got a permanent ban on botany, and then thought that a VPN was preventing you from logging you back into the holeyshoes account, so you made another account? Am I getting that right?
Correct - I got the Botany job ban. I thought that Byond was blocking my login due to the new VPN and created another one today and it worked. Tried DCing VPN prior to that and wasn’t able to log in. still not sure what is going on with the holeyshoez account.
Perhaps is the fact that the botany ban exists on account holeyshoes, while holeyshoez has a ban for evasion, which happens to also be the same reason as the ban on bobjimbo5000?
Yupp that’s what it seems. I really don’t know what the deal is with those two accounts, I don’t have access to the first and don’t have any login credentials or email to see what the deal is. Sorry for that.
I’m also going to ask for @Caecilius’s opinion as he originally issued the botany ban to Holeyshoes, just so I can get a better sense of what I want to do to fully close this out.
What about Holeyshoes?
I am willing to lift permanent server ban but you will need to appeal perma botanist ban (probably at later date, after playing some time with good record) and choose only 1 account.
Your story doesn’t add up with records at all.
I’m going out on a limb when I say that sharing those records is only going to lead to better ban evasion on your part.
You have three accounts, all three have matching credentials that a VPN doesn’t explain it at all. You tried to evade with a VPN + new account, you lied about it and you’re still lying about it.
