Incident Description:
For context, Robotics donated the Durand to Security. I was using the Durand to help fight off the swarm of sentient slimes massacring the crew. My IC name was Ruben Stahl.
I saved Hugh from a slime. Hugh thanked me, and then later decided to lynch me with 5 other crew members in the Emergency Shuttle cockpit, including the Captain Gerald Lopez.
The captain initiated the RDM by magdumping his antique laser gun into my back, at which point the crew started whacking me with blunt objects.
After they destroyed my mech, I threw a flashbang, ran away, and started shooting at the mob swarming me, at which point Gerald shot me repeatedly with his laser gun. He fell unconscious to N2O shortly after I stunned him. The rest of the guys who jumped me then ran off to join the EORD.
For no reason other than that they wanted to fight me, several people who I saved from slimes and depressurized environments over the course of the round decided to attack and kill me.
The crowning glory was the Captain.
The Captain was both toxic and incompetent. He insulted and assaulted everyone who helped him over the course of the shift. He died several times, and then used his energy gun to disable and strip the medical staff that revived him, because his ID went missing.
After a changeling murdered me in maintenance with an energy gun, the Captain then shoved me into a wall after I was revived in front of the cuffed Changeling and told me that it was my fault and dying was illegal. He also denied that Changelings exist when I said we should gib the actively murderous changeling and repeatedly shoved me into a wall just for talking.
He also shoved me into a glass table while I was examining the suspected Changeling for implants, because he thought we’d already examined him. We hadn’t.
He then shoved the Brig Physician into the wall while she was performing the surgery, so that he could finish the surgery himself.
The changeling later easily escaped from Perma, because it was a Changeling.
He then tried to gun me down unprovoked and without any warning with his antique laser gun right before the End of Round.
To clarify, I had done nothing to aggravate the Captain previously. I didn’t insult him at all. I didn’t shove him back earlier, or attack him, even after he started magdumping me and my Durand broke down in under fifteen seconds beneath the swarm of lasers, toolboxes, and RDMing griffons.
He decided to destroy my Durand, and then after I fled, gun me down, just because he wanted to.
TLDR;
Gerald used the Captain role to abuse random people over the course of the shift and then decided to use his recharging laser gun to RDM me on the emergency shuttle for no reason other than that I existed.
I don’t really care that much about the other guys, but please, for the love of all that is good and holy, roleban Gerald from command. Please.
